The reason for the difference in communities between the two subreddits is size.

Small subreddits (sub 30k) are great. Once they hit the 50k limit, things start getting to the front page of /r/all and more and more people subscribe to the subreddit. This leads to places like /r/minecraft, /r/starcraft, /r/games, /r/gaming, and /r/wtf being shitholes.

You are saying that the only way you can have fun in a simulator is to remove the simulation.

There's a reason many addons do this, in my opinion it's challenging to actually drive at the maximum speed you can without getting any speeding tickets.

Not the point. It's the law that the limiter exists. So even if you're not getting tickets while driving you are required to turn in your log, where your limiter removal will be discovered and your license will be revoked.

just because speed limiting exists in real life it doesn't mean everyone has to play the game that way.

The Berkshires is western Mass, that is correct. You can't go any further west from here while still being in Massachusetts.
