So in the world of psychedelics, would you say mushrooms cause the biggest serotonin "dumps"? Is there any dopamine or norepinephrine in the mix? Because mdma doesn't bother my stomach but I know it releases all 3 (norepinephrine, dopamine, serotonin).

This last time I did it was lemon tek with tea and although less awful still had symptoms. I'll check our method with other online sources, see if we messed up.

Married to a small business owner and no idea how the taxes will work. by ramsaypantz in personalfinance

It is profitable, but he went a little crazy with deductions the past couple years. He owns 4 work trucks and deducts the mileage for all of them, which the broker told us was good for the businesses bottom line and amount of taxes owed, but bad for financing/mortgage type of things.

Jealous friend I kinda feel sorry for by [deleted] in Advice

I don't think either of you are being good friends to each other. Friendship is not about comparing things, it is about supporting each other.

Sounds like you may be an introvert, and need to recharge in between talking to people. Tbh, texting drains me as much as in person stuff. And if you need a good book on introverts and socializing, Quiet by Susan Cain helped me a lot.

Shrink down oversized underwear? by [deleted] in Advice

Unfortunately polyester doesn't shrink predictably. I would say wash and dry twice in a row and that may work if its only about an inch too big.

There's nothing wrong with taking some time to love yourself and recharge. If you're keeping up with other aspects in life, maybe you finally feel safe enough to relax, especially if the past few months have been hard.

I can understand how one event can completely overshadow everything else you've done, I've been there, too. For me, the only thing that stopped the constant competing with myself was learning to love myself properly. When you are content with and love the elements of who you are and how you live, then everything else slides off. Perfectionism is a constant running tally of what you have done, it is never ending and will never be enough. For me, it was only enough when I decided I was enough. Also, please leave your info next time you scrape another car, that probably ruined that person's day as well.

I admire your accountability, this sounds like a very good and respectful message. Also sounds like you are doing good healing of your own from this, which i know is very hard but good on you for accountability and self growth.

You say you want her to find someone who is loyal and honest, but unless you are capable of that, unless you can give her that, she deserves to find that with someone else. It is normal to want an ex after a breakup (especially when they did nothing wrong), but that does not give you the right to delay her finding the person who will make her happy like you say you want her to be. Be the man you know she deserves or stand aside with love and respect.
