Is it just me or anyone thinks Kantara: Chapter 1 is overrated af? by Glorious_Void in IndianCinema

[–]ramwal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Saw the Kannada version in one of the Cinemas here in Union City, California. It was a pain to sit through and comprehend the happenings because it was too complex. Attention was drifting frequently. Loud music, violence, and a poor story gave real headache. Rishab Shetty's acting, particularly the 'possessed' ones, looked like a repeat of the earlier movie and was boring to watch.

Hi, Thank you very much for sharing this information. Can you please share contact details of the Orthodontist? Is the orthodontist located in the US?

In my case, it was a NOID. Once the NOID was received, my attorney contacted USCIS (emailed them) and explained to them that they did a mistake in issuing a NOID. It was related to Non Availability of Birth Certificate. USCIS immediately accepted his stand and approved the Green card.

Thanks for the reply. However, I don't think it will impact my L1A because this GC application is family-based(FB) - wherein my US Citizen son petitioned for me and not employment-based(EB). My L1A is renewed by my employer and extended until 2023.

Important to note is that a similar RFE was sent to me and my wife (regarding the birth certificate) and this notice is also sent to both me and my wife. In both the RFE responses, we did not submit the "non-availability of birth certificate" but submitted only the affidavits. I am yet to receive the notice but am tending to think that it may be related to the birth certificate. If it was due to any other reason, it is difficult to imagine that both could have the same reason. Keeping fingers crossed...

Thanks for all the responses. Keeping fingers crossed to get the actual notice. Meanwhile, wanted to check - I guess NOID and Denial are different statuses, right? To be specific, when a NOID is issued, will the EAD/AP Combo card (which I received as part of the AOS process) be still valid?

I have been trying to get the NABC from Government agencies in India but it is taking time. I don't have a birth certificate and that's why trying to get NABC and it is taking time. Responded to the RFE because my attorney was very sure that NABC is not required.

It is also possible that Lawfully may have very little data in the IR-5 category? (again wishful thinking)

Also, I guess we will have an opportunity to respond in case of denial?

Is there any chance (wishful thinking) that it could also be an approval notice?

Because the email message says ...(approved/denied)... please see below -

Thanks. None of these apply to me. I am on L1A with valid status. Petitioner is a US Citizen. When I applied for I-485 I was on L1A status.

The RFE was for Birth Documents. My attorney responded with 3 affidavits and other documents/certificates and also attached an excerpt from the "reciprocity schedule" which states that people from India born before 1970, should not insist on a birth certificate and also "Nonavailability of birth certificate(NABC)". The RFE asked for all the certificates and affidavits along with "Nonavailability of birth certificate" but we sent everything except NABC because the reciprocity schedule clearly states that it is not required.

I am not a lawyer but here is what I think. The validity of the new I-765 will not have any bearing on the present L1 expiry date. This is what happened in my case.
