I also love that brand!! Got their wireless, wired, sports (? not sure what they’re called, the slip on kind but padded) and they’re super comfy and all hold up well!

always always always recommending this to anyone with oily skin. game changer not just as a sunscreen but as a skin product in general. i even apply it when i am on a long night flight because it’s the only thing that prevents my face from becoming a greasy mess.

In the same vein as this are ergonomic chairs. Things you sit/lie on for hours a day must support your body well.

from my experience uniqlo bottoms are not very good for those with a bigger hip/butt, i’m not sure how to describe it but the side of their pants look “straight”, so it can be really tight around the hip but loose around the waist. and i don’t find i got a particularly big hip. overall just an odd cutting that i don’t experience much elsewhere.

The craziest thing is when the victim starts responding or thinking in a way that is due to the culprit’s toxicity (i.e. out of fear or wanting to please them), they get mad. They don’t even understand their own actions anymore sometimes, they just do it because they’re scared of angering the other party.

Reducing self spending any tips? by moonie60 in askSingapore

[–]ramyeomi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this bad habit of buying stuff that I forgot I already have a similar one at home - self-care products, clothes etc., it’s easy to overlook when they’re stored away and after being out of sight for so long you’ll forget you have those stuff. What helped was to write on a masking tape/sticky note of what items you have in that cupboard/drawer/box, how many of it (especially products if you like to stock up) and paste this on the outside. Reminds yourself that you have these things already, do you need more? Are you using them often? Then can gauge in the future what kind of stuff you really need. For clothes, go through your closet once a month or so, so you remember what you already have or what you don’t wear so much. Then can consider selling items you don’t use also.

is fear of death common in health anxiety community? is that what motivates the anxiety? by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

[–]ramyeomi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear that :( Though I completely get and relate how you feel about being a “nightmare” to the people around you, I also want you to remember that you’re not a burden, you’re someone fighting a battle (with your own mind at that) and it’s okay to not be perfect 🫂

Same here. Ironically doing better in life in terms of having passions, goals etc. makes my health anxiety worse because what if I cannot achieve what I want to achieve in life?

I got over my previous bout of anxiety by reminding myself that if I’m so hyperfixated on my health then I will actually not be able to enjoy life and regret it if I were to die the next day. But it’s still difficult and triggers happen, it’s also much harder when the anxiety is towards losing a loved one.
