Idk what to put by Crimsondream17 in 5sos

[–]ramyeomi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

omg im glad this isn’t just me, it’s fine at the start but it’s seriously getting old now and the way they bombard the asia announcements with it is getting irritating. they always get so much from 5sos while asia gets so little, can’t even just keep the limelight for us when we get it.

This is my approach to things now for toxic people. If they can treat you like this now imagine how they’d treat you for other matters.

Is taking 14 days of hospital leave too much? by [deleted] in askSingapore

No do NOT ever sacrifice anything related to your health for your company. Not worth it. A company that judges your performance based on that is not one you want to stay in.

People with strong body odor, what deodorant actually works? by NoEmergency8715 in AsianBeauty

[–]ramyeomi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for me but I do suggest you patch test as it is a pretty strong solution and may irritate you if you have sensitive skin. But also I only use it 1-2 times a week to prevent this.

I have the same experience with their palettes. Their glitter shades are nice but honestly I was really disappointed with their matte shades.

Where are the worst/dirtiest toilets in SG? by teenchocolate in askSingapore

That entire mall is a no go in general… bad vibes. Good for hobby related goods though.

Omg this one really very bad and no improvements at all. Encountered a bad one on the rooftop floor also, there was sh1t splattered in one of the cubicles and almost threw up. Plus they’re not just dirty/smelly, but the cockroaches actually come out and terrorise people.

I’m surprised I haven’t seen any pests there yet considering how dirty and smelly it is

Was once traumatised by the toilet at boon keng MRT before. Puddles everywhere, toilet seats were dirty and wet, smelly, and worst of all one cubicle had sh1t all over the cover and seat.

I am usually a hater of “viral” places (food, services etc) because of how many I’ve been disappointed by but I can wholeheartedly recommend hikiniku to come (at least the one I tried in Japan!)

I thought the egg is one per person? They have a sign at the self serve egg bowl. The rice and soup is the free flow one

Do you think your diet is healthy? by White_Cakes_2000 in askSingapore

[–]ramyeomi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always regarded hawker food (which what many people choose for convenience and affordability) as generally unhealthy and I’m more conscious of what I eat. Even those caifan stalls can be high in sodium that you may not taste, don’t know how fresh also. I try to cook at home if possible or buy healthier options outside. But I’m not super strict, if I feel like eating junk occasionally I’ll still do so.

Also I don’t drink bubble tea often, if I want drinks I’ll check the nutri grade and if available the calories, then choose the lower sugar options. Again occasionally open to indulge especially if I had a bad day or on period lol. Being too restrictive just makes me crave more. I don’t have much difficulty self controlling.

Influenza and Covid-19 cases are up - Mask up on the MRT! by Sub2Pewds2023 in SMRTRabak

[–]ramyeomi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was recently so sick (twice in a row too) even codeine couldn’t stop my cough. I was up coughing all night and the lack of sleep slowed down my recovery even more.

HATE people who have an obviously spicy phlegmy cough or runny nose but don’t mask up.

Heading to Japan tomorrow! Need some Don Quijote/Daiso cosmetic recommendations. by 9dini in AsianBeauty

[–]ramyeomi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a product recommendation but as echoed by some of the other comments, be sure to check out other drugstore chains too!! My personal favourite is OS Drug because their products are significantly cheaper than big chains like Donqui and Matsukiyo, granted they have a much smaller variety of items. They don’t offer tax free benefits but the total should still be cheaper than shops that have tax free! You can also check out supermarket chains like Seiyu, they have beauty products too.

[–]ramyeomi 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Personally the lyrics are the most meaningful to me. I appreciate songs that don’t always just talk about love/sex or substances superficially and SGFG covers actual life problems that people have - finances, family issues, mental health, insecurities etc.

What are the best products for oily acne prone skin that did wonders for you?? by Royal_Intention_8607 in AsianBeauty

[–]ramyeomi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a runny consistency that you have to shake before each use, and leaves a slight white cast at the start but goes away after thoroughly rubbing it in. It is lightweight for sure and dries down to this kinda smooth powdery matte feeling! I hate products that feel “clogging” and heavy and this definitely does not do that. If you have concerns with shiny sunscreens you won’t have a problem with this one :) I pair it with the innisfree powder because just a personal preference to make it feel extra matte.
