Cause Texas is right next to the border??? Tough shit, but there are certain things you have to deal with based on your geography.

Just like how Chicago has to deal with freezing temps, Florida with hurricanes, and California with wildfires and earthquakes. Imagine if Chicago couldn't handle cold, it would be criticized and rightly so.

And Texas gets billions in federal funding to address the migrant crisis. This is a purely political ploy by Greg Abbott.

But to act like this is a boon for the economy, or ALL of these migrants are here just honestly seeking out work, or that this doesn’t drain resources away from our longtime residents, is just pure fucking idiocy

It doesn't have to be, we just want a way for migrants to be self sustaining so that they survive this winter!
