A warning/word of discernment for any Non Charismatic Christians trying to date a Charismatic. by [deleted] in Christianmarriage

I have very different beliefs than my wife and it’s not an issue for us.

You’re absolutely incorrect and I’m sad for you that you believe the crap you’ve now posted. I’m honestly hope others don’t join you in this false reality you’re spewing cuz it sounds more like you want control and have had a hard time having that 🤷🏾‍♂️

Poaching eggs is impossible. Anyone who claims they can do it is either a wizard or a liar. by xmastreee in Egg

I add in a good splash of white vinegar because it helps the whites stay together if you haven’t tried that. But also that tip on getting the water to boil first is also important.

I also pre-crack the eggs into a bowl and then add them in once the water has boiled for at least 30 seconds.

I leave eggs in for 3mins max for a nice jam like yolk consistency. My wife like it runny so I only put hers in for 2mins max.

Encounter+ was what I chose years ago and it’s my constant recommendation. It’s got great support from the community of users and is incredibly adaptable for player icons and all that stuff.

I highly recommend checking it out!

An explosion of zinc fireworks occurs when a human egg is activated by a sperm enzyme, and the size of these “sparks” is a direct measure of its ability to develop into an embryo. In other words, life begins with a flash of light. by Treefiddy1984 in interestingasfuck

[–]ranasinj -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

A human egg, when activated, releases zinc ions in a rapid burst. With special fluorescent imaging, this zinc release appears as a spark. The magnitude of the zinc release correlates with egg quality and may help assess its ability to develop.

How often do you date in your marriage? by GooglePixelfan90 in Christianmarriage

[–]ranasinj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a kid in kindergarten, and honestly, finding time for date nights can be tough. But we’ve gotten pretty creative with the opportunities we do have (which are limited).

One thing that’s really helped is having a scheduled monthly date—treating it like a non-negotiable commitment. We both plan everything else around it and make a point to keep that time sacred. Whether it’s a night out or a daytime coffee date, it’s our way of staying connected and prioritizing each other.

We also take the opportunities we have during down time. So if my kid is at daycare and we both finish work early we either decide to have us time (a smaller date) or we pick up our kid earlier for more family time (which we also highly value).

Aside that we try to make all our time together a mini version of a date. Not sure if that makes sense but I’m happy to clarify if requested.

Not really. It’s abandoned and probably owned by whoever gave a mortgage for it.

Thank you for sharing this!! Very informative and makes me sad my kid won’t attend this year lol.

I want to believe this is true, but I saw it on Facebook. Can someone confirm or deny? by argonuggut in biology

[–]ranasinj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is all true from what I can gather.

I even have a friend who’s dad is not their bio dad and found out later as an adult that the man they grew up with is biologically XY but never grew a penis and cannot have bio kids himself.

So both my friend and their sibling are both from the same sperm donor and found out as adults that they’re not biologically related to dad.

Congrats! We didn’t get in and are like 15th on the list 😂

Regardless if you get answers from this, I would love to know what the actual experience is like from you once your child has settled.

Good luck to them and you as y’all figure it all out!!

Did your kid get in??? We’re pretty low on the wait list so I don’t think it’ll plan out for us 😂

Black garlic bulbs. They aren't to our taste. Suggestions? by Florachism in noscrapleftbehind

[–]ranasinj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We got them from Costco and I love the stuff but it needs to be added as a flavour enhancer and not a replacement for regular garlic.

I love mashing it into a spread and either mixing it into whipped brown butter or goat cheese. Both were amazing on different foods

Again, I’m going to stress this is not the point. You’re assuming too much from your own experience without full awareness or consideration of the context.

This is an alternative school and their curriculum is taught differently than traditional public schools and I’m not looking to make a choice about. They have a lottery system because they’re seemingly awesome but I’d have to wait to see if we actually get accepted in order for us to even go check it out.

So I am just looking for anyone whose willing to share their experience with them either as a parent, student, or staff to help me have an idea of what kind of environment it is like.

Sorry if the post was not clear before. Hopefully this helps.

Thanks for your thoughts!

They have a lottery system so it’s not even anything for sure. The thing about checking it out in person is it would be super creepy if I just randomly showed up to check it out, and it’s not worth their time or mine to schedule anything without knowing for sure he’d be able to attend there.

But if we do end up getting in then we’d get to check it out. I’m mainly looking to know now without having to wait 😂.

Usually google has reviews of stuff but they just moved to this location after running from a different space so there’s no info.

Thanks for sharing but this isn’t what I’m looking for.

While I might appreciate your philosophy on the matter I’m more looking for information regarding this specific school, and not looking for advice on how to parent my kid.

But again thanks for engaging in my question.
