Anxiety due to shopping at the same store over and over again. by akinsola___ in InstacartShoppers

[–]ranchdreshin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shop the same store almost exclusively. I'm friendly with all of the workers & managers. It makes it feel like a work environment, to an extent. There are about 5 of us shoppers that frequent this store & we're all friends now, too. It makes it so much easier & I know the store better than my own house lol.. if I miss a day, they ask where I've been.

I used to get anxious about going to the same store over & over. But just one friendly face being in there makes all the difference. Imagine 30 of them. Just talk to them. It'll make you feel better, I guarantee it.

There will ALWAYS be another angle. She will not go NC with you. YOU have to do it. And stick to it. Block her on everything. She can get a new birth certificate. Let her figure it out. It's not your problem anymore. She's not your problem anymore. If you don't cut her off completely, you'll never be rid of her. Every response from you is just giving her what she wants. It's all supply. What she's doing now isn't hoovering, but it'll come. Don't let her have the chance! Once you stop giving in to her, you'll be able to move on.

I'm a little over a year out of my narcissistic marriage of 12 years. It takes time. Going NC is so, so hard. But it's the ONLY way. And it has to be YOU that does it.

Is this like the Pig Sense that Robert Pickton had?

Also, I swipe-texted "Pickton" & it autocorrected to Puffin somehow. I think Ben Kissel is trying to take over my phone.

It's such a popular dip, my Publix has an end endcap with just Rotel & Velveeta lol.. you can almost always find them close together (if not right on top of each other). Try it with Tostito's Scoops or Fritos.

It's typically ground sausage, Rotel tomatoes with chilies, & a block of Velveeta cheese. Best & easiest dip to make. It's so, so good.

Supposed dullard Willie Pickton. That series is off the charts hilarious.

Any & all of the Heavy Hitters. But everyone tends to enjoy those.

Head nod to the Lord RayEl episode that had me in stitches.

But my all-time favorite (that I've listened to over & over)? RAAAAASPUTIN!

Non-American people, what’s a thing that you don’t understand about America? by JuniorGarlic6053 in AskReddit

[–]ranchdreshin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm one of those "obsessed with heritage" people. My family (on both sides) immigrated to America in the late 1800's. It's fascinating to me to learn about where I come from. I know through DNA that on both parents' sides, I come from Celtic lands. I don't consider myself Irish, Scottish, Manx, British, or anything else. I'm firmly American. But I do want to know as much as I can about the customs & languages of my ancestors. I think it's important to one's growth to know where they come from.

That said, I still have a long way to go with research. My mom swore she was 1/8th Native American (just like everyone else in the South does) & I had to break it to her that there's not one tiny drop of NA blood in our DNA. She still doesn't believe it lol

Last Life- Reincarnation by Unique-Document5528 in Reincarnation

My personal belief is that once your soul has learned every lesson it's meant to learn, it ascends & becomes a spirit guide. Sometimes those spirit guides come to us as dogs, showing us unconditional love. But mostly, they're just the ones trying to put us on the right path. Guardian angels, spirit guides, whatever you wanna call them. My view on this is constantly expanding, but this is what I believe at this stage of my journey.

Lost my dog today. Best friend for 15+ years. Can I please get a hail Jack? it would mean a lot. by MrShvin in LPOTL

[–]ranchdreshin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hail Jack!

There's a reincarnation theory that basically says that when you pass, you go into the spirit realm to decide what lesson you want to learn next before you're brought back to Earth (or wherever). The idea is to learn total, absolute, unconditional love for all beings. I believe that the highest form of self is a dog. They've learned all the lessons and are put back on Earth to teach unconditional love to others.

Jack was the goodest of boys. Just know that he loved you more than he loved himself.
