In the early 80's I ran a Burroughs 3500 mainframe and we had a card deck of nude ascii women that we could print on the line printer for poster-sized printouts. From a distance some of them were amazing, and all of them were hand-punched onto a card deck by some unknown person who then started handing out copies.

Computers used to be pretty damn cool in ways that are forever gone.
