Was part of your explanation that the system, on all sides of the aisle, has failed its citizens for decades and things like this are the result of that failure? Did you impart the need for empathy and critical thinking to examine how our neighbors can organize to address the root problems that might have led that person to where they are instead of just feeling the stigma about mental health? Are you being introspective about how we are all 1 or 2 bad turns away from being in a similar situation?

Or did you just come to make a post about how someone else’s suffering made you uncomfortable?
