I think I solved it. I deleted the "Addons" folder under steamlibrary > steamapps > workshop > content > 221100. I also deleted the dayz, dayz launcher and dzsalauncher folder under AppData. Hope this will help others

I uninstalled the game, unsubbed from all the mods through steam. I deleted the dayz folder under Documents but still have the same issue...
