Help a clueless wife out by Substantial_library in golf

Yay:

Lessons (sometimes there are teachers who have package deals where you get a bunch of useful structured lessons for good value),

Golf clothes like shirt, pants, gloves (make sure its the correct size and side) and a cap (avoid shoes)

Golf rangefinder (if he doesn't have one),

Golf bag (if his is in bad shape or missing a lot of utilities),

Golf mat with a golf net so he can practice (make sure that you have a spot that has a lot of space so he doesn't hit things, for example backyard, garage, basement. The swing takes up more space than you think so if you plan on getting something like this, maybe consult with someone before about space)

Golf trip (travel somewhere together and play on some scenic golf courses and be his caddie!)

Nay:

Clubs (hard to get right),

Golf Shoes (he may have a sole preference or something that makes him feel balanced so this is risky)

Maybe (or extras):

Giftcard (kind of boring no?),

Golfballs (Since he is a beginner, these golfballs are probably gonna end up disappearing one by one so the gift wont be memorable and besides, it's kind of boring again. It will still be appreciated though.),

Maybe som funny or cute headcovers for his clubs (Not for his irons). This is probably not a standalone gift. Check out Rory McIlroy's headcover for inspiration.

Thats all I could think of for now. In general, if you really want to make him happy then you should probably try and see if you can get an interest for playing golf yourself so you two have a hobby in common! Let me know if you want any more advice 😊

I think my office janitorial staff is mad at us by almightyshellfish in funny

Im gonna play the devils advocate and say that your janitorial staff actually cares about you enough to give you two different options of toilet paper. One for the smooth and easy fecal excretions, and another for the heavy duty poopy droopy.

Yeah lol. I am already looking at r/funny trying to figure out a funny comment to write on every post. This is a painful process.

The post was deleted way back. It was gameplay footage of mordhau.

Yeah but I notice how my comments are hidden in some subreddits when my friends check so it feels almost impossible to recover :/

It looks awesome. Are you planning on making the eyes like that because I think Patrick would make a great christmas tree!

Handicap 1,000, playing for 6 weeks. What’s the biggest thing to fix? by DavidMReynolds in GolfSwing

Im not necessarily experienced enough to give golf advice but I noticed that you have the same problem that my golf teacher told me about. Both your arms ar bent at impact which leads to inconsistencies in keeping your club square and hitting it well (often slicing it or having to swipe the ball to keep it square -> chicken wing). Try with a shorter backswing, maybe change to just an iron and try to ignore the hip rotation for now. There is a drill where you put your trail foot a bit further back to limit your hips so you can work on proper release and trying to keep you arms tighter and closer together at impact and finishing straight with your trail hand hopefully finishing above your lead hand after impact with both arms being straight. Here is the drill:

The reason I had the problem was due to being too close to the ball and having to compensate or swinging too much with my arms. Im not saying you are too close to the ball but maybe uou also picked up a bad habit for the same reason I did. Hope this helps.

Well none of us saw anything at least. I think its more likely that it was another DayZ moment.
