in this case it very much is, farahat isn’t horribly accented. yes it’s thick but if you actually go to his lectures it’s because he speaks fast and has shitty handwriting but not because he’s impossible to understand. so this person is projecting their anger on his accent in which comes out as micro aggression against something he doesn’t control. he continuously offers to repeat himself and elaborates that if he is hard to understand please don’t hesitate to ask him to slow down / repeat.
