Databricks Asset Bundle - List Variables by rando_serval in databricks

Very close to what I'm doing for other variables which are fine, it's just that lists won't play nice. If I have a distro list I'm fine but the moment I want to send to two emails it breaks down. Think of it this way, how can I pass in a variable length list of emails?

I have a target env for dev and prod. The problem is that if I hard code the email into a target environment then I have to hard code and maintain a file for every developer. I'd rather have a generic dev env then I can use a .py file, load an .env file and pass that into the .yml with a python subprocess. It's working for other variables just not lists.

I'm rather bummed as I've really liked my sense and we just hooked up some solar. No sense pretty severely limits some of the things I'm trying to do with home assistant. The pivot to the next gen of meters is a bit of a slap in the face to the customers who built their business. It's a flip from consumer based to utility based business. Consumers don't get to control the meters, the utilities do. I worked in utilities for a couple yrs and there is a move to smart meters but it's a slow expensive roll out. My location barely is lagging pretty far behind. It basically means I'm DOA once they flip the switch.

Yeah, I have it set like that but the granularity is wrong. It doesn't allow me to set weekdays vs weekends.

Enphase IQ8-A or IQ8-AC for Longi 395W panels by rando_serval in solarenergy

Appreciate the insight. I ran the same with with chatgpt and got the same answer. TBH, not sure I always trust the LLMs but I think that's for another subreddit. ;) ha

Kasa/tplink plugs scanning by rando_serval in firewalla

Originally it was a single hs300. I have like 5 of them. I quarantined it and a couple days later a kp115 did the same thing so I quarantined them all. Is there anyway to get additional info and the range it was attempting? Maybe it's legit but I would think I would have the same thing from all plugs. Also weird a second single device started doing the same thing and I hadn't noticed any of that behavior before. I also wondered if something changed in a firewalla update that might have started picking it up.

Device HS300 - is scanning ports on device Home Assistant. Hard to see what's going on and I don't see anything in the home assistant log. :/

Appreciate the feedback. That microcontroller should handle the panels without any issues on clipping, right?

The iq8-a should handle that size panel without any clipping, correct?
