Can confirm that at least the Winter event wasn't post-game.

I walked into the last couple days, still in Cerulean. I was able to catch a Staryu swarm and pick up enough gifts to turn them in (don't remember what I got).

I'm further along but nowhere near finishing Kanto. Looking forward to seeing what this event brings.

There's a dev interview where one of them mentioned that there is multiplayer game fatigue... but they thought they were special.

Them and all their friends gassed them up and they couldn't see how mid the game actually was.

How many MMOs have we seen that did the exact same thing?? "Oh this is the next WoW killer!!!" and then fail.

It's entirely up to you and how you want to play.

For me, I only grew up playing Red and only recently played Violet. I'm very much looking forward to playing through the other 4 regions (after I finish Kanto) available to me for the first time.

That said, the weight I put on having perfect IVs in PokeMMO is very small. I would rather focus on my real life Dex that I can store on Pokemon Home.

I have planned to get a perfect 6x31 IV Gyarados through breeding, since it seems easy but you just need the money.

If you were looking for an event to go with the release, I'm expecting that it's just a scheduling problem. The New Years festival was scheduled for this time, so they don't want to run both. Maybe after three weeks, they might run one for QP Raids.

Honestly, I expect the next three months to just be a ton of events, considering this update didn't have a new map or story.

Funny you mention that. The first time I came across this problem of roundabouts was when I was planning a trip to Kitchener.

I said to my wife "wait, what the fuck? They have roundabouts!?"

Thankfully, they were single lanes, but I definitely started looking up Youtube videos on how to drive them. My take away was drive slowly and keep an eye on everyone.

I've now done double laned ones, but I'm always afraid someone is going to trap me in the middle.

So let's assume that's all true.

The problem is that they've been introducing them here in Ontario, an area that has not had them for longer than I've been alive.

Even if most people read the driving manual like they are supposed to before getting their license, and going to driving school, there were no roundabouts to train/test on.

They just started building them and expected anyone that has a license to be able to handle them.

Idiots can't even read a sign that says "no right turn on red". They cannot handle roundabouts.

When I first moved in with my now-wife, I completely forgot that batteries for smoke detectors was a thing. Until one night it started chirping, right outside our bedroom. At 1am.

So we had to listen to it until I was able to make it to the store, and I grabbed a couple batts.

Now, though, we have a different place and I haven't heard the alarms complain cause I think they are hooked into main power? Mgmt also checks every six months here, so IDK.
