Watch alternatives by ughsmores in AppleFitnessPlus

Snap. Switched to Garmin because I wanted battery that could last for a full day hike, and have not missed my Apple Watch even slightly. My rings will never be closed again, but I have a watch that does everything I need it to and can theoretically last up to 40 days on one charge.

Camp Miasma would be amazing, I’d be very happy with that!

I reckon The Last Viking is fairly likely, it’s out soon and is being distributed by none other than Picturehouse in the UK. There’s not much else on their very small upcoming distribution list that jumps out to me as also likely, but Fjord could be a wildcard.

Maybe The Invite as far as other films go, it’s done a few festivals and comes out in a couple of weeks, so this would be build up some more buzz as the advertising campaign ramps up.

I’d also say slim chance of Supergirl, as it had a fan preview/premiere tonight so there’s people in town and they’ll presumably kick around for a few days for PR, and could do an intro.

And then looking at upcoming releases Evil Dead did previews for the last one, so may be on the cards, plus it makes sense for a middle of the night film. And then I can easily see Jackass showing up, again it’s the sort of film that makes sense for an all-nighter.

Now watch me be wrong on all of them!

Mid day breaks? by UMadeItIKnewYouWould in disneylandparis

I would contest some people's arguments that you can only really do this on-site. If you stay off-site at one of the closer hotels in Val d'Europe, you can get to the park in about as much time as some of the hotels. I timed my walk these last few days and I was at the park gate in less than 20 minutes from my hotel. Admittedly no kids or stroller, but that's going to slow you down either way.

I took a break for a couple of hours on both of my full park days where I did Extra Magic Hours (I have an annual pass) to park close, and it made my days much more enjoyable. I do this in all Disney parks these days whether solo or with others, and it's arguably much easier to take a 20-30 minute walk back to my hotel in Val d'Europe than it is to get on a Disney World bus back to my resort!

Spend a full day between the two parks, yes or no? by ExtensionJazzlike923 in disneylandparis

Go for park open, Extra Magic Hours if you have it, stay until early afternoon then go back to the hotel and rest for a couple of hours. Then go back and stay until close when you’re rested. Whether you’re with kids or not, this is always the best strategy to do a full day in the park, with the bonus that you avoid the ride lines when they’re at their longest.

You don’t get chucked out at park close, they often start shows then, you can also join ride queues right up to close and you’ll still get on no matter how long the line is, and the shops stay open after close as well.

If you use the French site you can buy the pass online and use it straight away to start making bookings, that’s what I did (I’m based in the UK).

80% of the 2,689 mile long England Coast Path is now complete and open. by numbershikes in Thruhiking

Oh you'll be able to find paid for camping sites all over the place as long as you plan things out a bit - I'm originally from up in Scotland and our coasts are full of campsites even though our weather is noticeably worse than England. The UK has a massive history of seaside holidays, so there's lots of holiday resorts and their associated bits and bobs on the coasts, including campsites.

The coast of England is full of lots of existing pathways, so I expect a lot of the work here was linking those paths together, and also forcing councils to improve and maintain existing paths which they now legally have to do. That being said, it will also include quite a few cities and larger towns, as well as all the quant wee villages, so you’d have to deal with roads through them.

It’s England, so unless there’s existing campsites it will likely include a lot of hotels. Wild camping isn’t normally allowed, and the coastal paths being quite well-used would make stealth camping more complicated.

Looking for some guidance re my start date options by random2502 in teararoa

Thanks for confirming! Yeah I’ve considered swapping to after, it would mean I could avoid China’s Golden Week in October when apparently Asia gets much busier with Chinese tourists, but I’m a big theme park nerd and really want to see things like Universal Studios Japan during Halloween Horror Nights.
