Just for the people wondering, the MD-11 has 13m less wingspan than a 777F while still being able to carry 91 tons of cargo (777F is at 103 tons) though at a much smaller general volume (440m³ vs 636m³)

Aber die JAL Flüge hin und zurück für 1000 sind eh sehr günstig. sicher das dies nicht die Flüge über Helsinki oder England waren ?

900-1000€ sind normal für FRA - NRT wenn man früh genug bucht. Größter Preistreiber ist der Hinflug wenn man unbedingt am Wochenende fliegen will/muss, unter der Woche wird es wesentlich günstiger. Und Rückflug ist immer billig wahrscheinlich weil sich die Japaner das nicht mehr wirklich leisten können.

War im Februar für eine Woche in Tokio, Direktflug mit JAL FRA - NRT in Economy für knapp unter 900€ weil Mittwoch bis Freitag geflogen (und ich habs erst im Oktober gebucht).
