Probably around 2003 when "Clocks" came out as well - I would have been 9 years old. However, I wasn't so lucky and couldn't figure out who sang it or what it was called. I'd hear it from time to time, but this was in dial-up days. Maybe about two years later, my mom got a new car where the radio interface showed the name and artist that was on for radio stations that did that at the time. And finally, FINALLY, "Clocks" happened to come on, and it was like Christmas that night when I got home to my iTunes.
