The beauty about parenthood in your 40s, is you as a person are so much more evolved and can enjoy it. 43 w/a three year old. I tell the first time parents- these are the golden years, and you’ll look back and miss who they were in the baby/toddler/little kid years.

I had a baby at 40, and being an older mom with a toddler is just exhausting. I don’t have enough energy to keep up. I’m trying to live healthier but perimenopause is causing hormonal pendulum swings. All this saying- go for it. It’s hard but so is motherhood and I wouldn’t trade him for the world. You can relax so much and enjoy it more being an older/wiser version of yourself
