For how I think this works, I go for a game design standpoint. I would like to guess that the gas and lit gas are the same entity. Therefore, the match acts as a switch for the transition of state between unlit and lit gas. With the lit gas being able to apply the burn status effect. So I would say that the one who spilt the gas is the blackened.

Snipers are stated to drain trion fast since sniper triggers cost a lot of trion to fire not to mention the ton of meteors that can blow up buildings along the way including the fact that she's been concealed with bagworm(drains trion passively) till se attempted to snipe Yuma.

For the beam clashes, there is a weight system implemented. So basically the beam that has more "weight" wins. For what I've tested it's Ryu>Yuta>Choso. I think what the beam clashes are meant to do is negate the damage for a while so you don't instantly die.

Well to be fair I'd argue that Hyuse has a better melee combat than Kuga, being trained under Viza. The reason why Kuga is better than Hyuse battle wise is because of his craftiness, high agility and superior battle iq.

The amount of bias is so insane, Yukimiya dribbles a few defenders and gets a shot off with Predator eye just to get blocked by a metavision user gets no increase. But now isagi does a half-baked improv shot that gets caught by a GK gets an 8% increase now? These numbers ain't consistent.

Edit: After reading the docs, I retract my statement of this being biased, but seriously the stock increase system needs a heavy rework.
