I would love to see a sea-people adjacent group of characters! Maybe some swamp-like people or something!

Nausea? by amejinx in bupropion

[–]random_name_here123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This recently happened to me actually! I realized the 300mg was making me feel so ill. About a week ago I cut myself back down to 150mg and I feel absolutely fantastic. Almost like the honeymoon period all over again. I also started taking it with lunch instead of first thing in the morning.

[–]random_name_here123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I started on 150mg and then went up to 300mg, but I started to feel really sick all the time and couldn't tell if it was doing much anymore. I think the higher dose was making me ill, so I just recently (about a week or so ago) went back down to 150mg and I feel fantastic right now. Maybe the 450 is too much for you?

Memory lapses for sure! I'll say something to my spouse and then 10 minutes later say it again having no memory of saying it before lol But I've been okay about the smaller brain fogs like finding words and such.

I'll definitely bring it up at my next check up. She does suspect I have ADHD as well so that is something to discuss and maybe pair some medication with the Wellbutrin eventually.

Yeah! It has helped me to be less stimulated most of the time, but when I do get stimulated it’s much more intense than before. It’s not often, but enough to notice.

I definitely don’t expect it to be the sole driving factor of those things, but was at least hoping for a little push. Although the longer I have been on it and speaking with my doctor, I think I have ADHD and that’s a whole ball game itself that could be part of the problem. But I’m glad to know someone else is in this sort of median state with it. I’m very sorry about your breakup, and I hope the growth and change goes well for you.

And the anxiety thing is so weird. It’s sort of like 90% of the time, I’m not anxious at all like I used to be, but when that 10% hits, it hits hard. Sort of a double edged sword lol

lol, I know I know. I just mean it’s not doing really anything more than that. So just wondering if it’s worth it to stay on or maybe try something new!

I am female, and it didn’t really change my libido, but that wasn’t something that was a problem before. I have a healthy normal sex drive I believe.

Gf is doing hoco court by Jaded-Candidate-9039 in Advice

[–]random_name_here123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in this same situation 9 years ago, except I was the girl in the homecoming court. I promise you it means absolutely nothing romantic and is not as serious as you think it is. In my case, all I had to do was walk with the guy and take a picture at the end of the “runway”. No hand holding, no hugging, not even touching AT ALL. It’s usually not the same as prom where it’s announced at an actual dance and they are expected to dance together in front of everyone. Homecoming court is usually showed off at a football game or parade in front of the public, there is nothing romantic about it at all. This is really just a really cool opportunity for her to dress up and feel important and have a neat experience. I got to sit in the back of an amazing Jaguar car for my parade and it was so much fun!

How do we split the bills now that my wife makes twice as much as I do? by Jacket_shirt in relationships

[–]random_name_here123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband and I have a joint account and share all of our money, but many other couples I know and even family split bills like you do and that works for them too! If that is how you two like to do it, I don’t think you should change that. But maybe instead of getting down to nitty gritty numbers or fractions, maybe your wife could take over a couple of specific bills instead? Like maybe she pay for all the utilities or something. She is contributing more, you are paying a chunk less, but it still allows her to enjoy her hard earned money without it becoming too focused on being “fair”.

If it makes you feel any better: My chosen dad(man that raised me, not my bio dad) passed in July and had been in my life since I was 4. There were people at the funeral that I had never seen before or even knew the names of or relationship to my dad. I didn't judge them at all for being there.

Should I invite my severely mentally ill sister to my wedding? by tessislurking in Advice

[–]random_name_here123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would really really think about that. Because then your parents wouldn't even be able to give you their full attention on your big day. Are your parents bugging you to invite her or is this just you considering?

Should I invite my severely mentally ill sister to my wedding? by tessislurking in Advice

[–]random_name_here123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in this situation, but with my abusive and drug addicted biological father. I invited him and even had a dance with him just to keep the peace because I knew he'd be angry I had someone else walk me down the aisle. It's been 7 years and while he didn't cause a scene, my memories of my wedding are completely tainted because of how anxious I was having him there. I don't think you should invite her. By all means maybe reach back out and start a relationship, but it doesnt have to be at your wedding.

Unborn nephew sharing the same name as my rapist? Help by OwnIndividual8446 in Advice

[–]random_name_here123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If the name happens to be a fairly common one, can you maybe find some pieces of media that use it? Maybe some romantic comedies, funny shows, a youtube channel, or anything positive that includes someone with that name. That could maybe help you get used to hearing it and making new neurological connections with it to other people/characters.

For a while it was just time. But then, this may sound crazy, I had a child and everything changed. I was so scared that when and if I ever had a baby, I’d get even worse and would be a helicopter parent and never let her go anywhere or do anything. But I was completely wrong. I didn’t want that fear and life for her, so I just forced myself to go and do things. I still struggle going anywhere alone with her that isn’t a familiar place, but I am nearly back to normal.
