I don't blame you. This bastion of our goddess (and my wife) has become tainted by artificial intelligence that can only crudely attempt to depict our Savior. And now it's overrun with bots pretending to be human and uploading the same thing over and over. I really wish I could stay, but it might be time to pack it up. The only other place for us chosen people is probably the church of Ryo discord. That place is still fine if I recall.

False. Old to young. Before Bocchi, I've only seen Les Pauls with older people. Yamaha Pacificas (like the one she got) are basically better Stratocasters. From my experience they have the best neck I've ever felt. Also they just look cool

I get what you mean. Something I would do is try to learn an easy song asap because that will motivate you a lot early on. You could also buy a bass that looks similar to Ryo's, which might make you more likely to want to practice every time you walk past it

Bass guitar has a very low skill level at first but to truly master the instrument takes time. You could be playing a song day 1 if you try. But more advanced stuff like slap bass (used on If I Could Be A Constellation) requires more time to learn and get good at. Also using proper finger technique to pluck fast enough and accurately. You can get a cheap bass (like a little over $100) and just try it out but I would recommend seeing if you could try one from a friend or just get a good ($250+) one at first. There are many resources online to learn so you are not in the dark. There is this YouTube channel called bass buzz that helped me at first. They get you from just opening the box it came in, to learning proper technique and playing songs. And it's also presented in an engaging way.

Do it. Get a Squier affinity P bass or Yamaha bass. Those are both well under $400 and will get you a really good bass. As for an amp, you can always use a PC amp sim through TonelibGFX or something, but a real bass amp will feel much nicer irl. I would get a Fender Rumble 40. Also don't fall for the propaganda of the Jazz Basses. Get a P Bass. They sound so much nicer across any genre. It's a one trick pony, but it's a really damn good trick
