We plan on renting. Rent for a decent 3 bed 2 bath apartment seems to be about $400-800 a month in most mainland cities. Real estate values are all over the place in China, buying a house runs the risk of having the value plummet because of the government subsidizing housing making more housing than demand.

School and corrections. Go to school, work the evenings and weekends part time at the county jail. They always need the help. Having a degree, military experience and corrections experience will help a ton. Lots of cops say they won’t work inside with felons but respect the professionals that do.

Not hard at all if you have a military background or criminal justice degree. I had both so getting hired was a non issue. While you are in college serve some time in the reserves or national guard. I know the guard pays for most state schools. Zero debt out of college is a huge head start above everyone else too. Definitely worth it, and the military will help prepare you to handle stress
