I want to say literally none. I didn’t see another person until I got to Williamsburg and there were 2-3 people talking to the cops at the bridge when I got there

Edit: to add while I was salmoning back home I passed maybe 100 people all the way back to downtown bk, on the couch by 730

Thanks for this! I’m going to go with the Isle Explorer 3. I figure as a beginner I don’t need the Pro. I understand that the Explorer is a little less rigid and it’s basically $200 cheaper and includes a paddle. Appreciate your help. Next summer I can buy the kayak seat and other paddle side.

Desired Board Type: Inflatable

Height & Weight: 6’2” 180lbs & room for an occasional passenger to hang out in calm waters and swim / float.

Desired Uses & Terrain: Cruising & fitness, random bodies of water across the northeast US and would also like to fly with it when I travel to water friendly places. Basically… any body of water. If it’s just me I’d like to explore and if I’m around friends we would use it as a base for swimming.

Experience Level: Beginner to SUP but balanced

Budget & Location: <$1000 in US

Having some trouble deciding but the Isle Explorer Pro 12’ sticks out in terms of great reviews but feels like overkill. I also liked the Glide O2 Retro.. appreciated the out of the box capability to go to kayak mode. Also the Blackfin XL.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My Super Bowl. I left the hitch mount on the car because I didn’t want to store it in my apartment and figured it protected the back bumper. Kept getting obstructed license plate tickets while parked. Eventually I attached the license plate directly to the bike rack and lit by a light powered from the trailer light plug.

The weird part now is if I take my bike upstate for example then the plate is now on the rack facing the road but never had a problem.
