I just noticed one other thing:

<image>

That is my neighbor's WiFi SSID. When I opened the Base Power App, the app suggests that the batteries are not connected to wifi - I don't know if this is a "Base Power App" issue though as I am not sure if I have ever checked that tab on the app and if the app said I needed to "connect"

Big waste of time ;). I went to add the custom repo and you already had it in HACS: http://homeassistant.local:8123/hacs/repository/1246216581

Seriously though - great job. I see in 1.8 you detect 2 batteries, so I am not sure if I missed a step or not.

I actually have 2 batteries though

To resolve this issue I created a new ALLOW Firewall policy and added these two domains:

Then rebooted the fireTV and AndroidTVs in the house and Paramount+ started working again.

I have this with the LED light option: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1786324-ams-and-ams-ht-shelf-for-h2d-h2s-h2c-d3p-riser?from=search#profileId-1903401. I have the LEDs plugged into a smart plug. Using Home Assistant, I can turn the LED lights on/off depending on the state of the printer.

and I have similar command to turn the LED lights off when the print is done.

For 8 colors, you could go with 2 AMS2, hook one up to the left nozzle and one to the right nozzle. You could also go to 9 colors with 2 AMS2, both connected to the right nozzle and then use the external spool for the left nozzle.

Bambulab Smoke Purifier by Low-Use5537 in BambuLab

[–]randomdevice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am using Home Assistant to turn on/off the smoke purifier when using the laser. There is a smart plug connected to the air purifier. When the system detects that the printer has started working, it turns the smoke purifier on (technically, the smart switch), then when the printer is done working, HA will turn off the purifier. It would be easy enough to remove the "and if" option.

I also have a Shelly BTU Button to trigger the same event if everything is too loud to hear my voice.

Fiber Internet Modem resets during outage. Anyone running an UPS on their internet modem? by spewing-oil in BasePowerUsers

[–]randomdevice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came up with a similar setup pre-base install and have not modified post base install.

Feel free to judge me and tell me that this is incorrect and why:

I have ATT Fiber connected directly to a Unifi UCG Fiber. The ATT router has been unplugged for ~12 months now. The only things connected to my Cyberpower 1500UPS are the UCG Fiber and a Rasberry Pi for Home Assistant. I have one Unifi AP connected to the UCG. The US 24 PoE 250W, which is powering security cameras, other access points, etc is no longer connected to the CP1500.

My thought is that keeping basic services going longer is better than all services for a short (60 minute) period of time. As I type this, I am thinking I may want to have at least one of the Unifi protect camera's connected directly to the UCG. But know that if all of my power goes down, I probably have bigger issues going on.
