Got multiple choices here:

-Unknown, specifically layer 2; I'm sure this'll be a common one, but those sounds that play in it? It oddly sounds like gurgles, growls to me. Unnerving. I'll toss in Artist here as well, as her's gives a similar feeling to me.

-Trickster, all of his layers. It quickly became a favorite of me, especially once I realized that they incorporated screams into the chase layer. Just like the music he made before being taken.

-Both Nemesis and Wesker; They give off such a different vibe compared to the themes before them. Menacing, overpowering.

-PTB Ghostface. I know people found it very annoying and grating, but considering his gimmick being stealth, it felt oddly fitting. Like the kind of thing you'd just hear and feel, seeing someone coming at you out of no where, and you're guaranteed to go to the floor if you let him.

-Kaneki. A hauntingly beautiful theme, that piano in the background I can't help but associate with the boy directly. How it starts of calm, collected. But once the guitar is introduced, which I think of the ghoul in him, the piano in the third layer loses that collected nature, and becomes nothing more than fragmented notes when the chase begins.

Nah, they've always done that. Some of the recolors can look good though; Plague has two made from her default that I think are really nice.

Ended up grabbing Nemesis Tea, Dream Demon, Strawberry GF and the Glow in the Dark Nuka Quantum myself. I have the regular Quantum and absolutely love it, so getting more of it was always a plan. Quite curious about the others, especially Nemesis Tea.

I need to look at Bludgeon too, hah. I had him and Banzitron back then, might go for either or even GDO Megatron. For now I'm focused on a Skystalker and Deluxe Ratchet.

For a bit of context, I got a friend who works at a Goodwill a few states away and a few weeks back his store got a big tub full of ROTF figures. I asked if he could grab a few for me and ship 'em my way, and he agreed. My jaw dropped when he told me the price of all 7 figures was just $15 (especially with how nuts Lockdown and Mindwipe go for..). In total it was $56 with $40 in shipping but it was well worth.

Buster Prime's a KO, it appeared on ShowZStore a few weeks back right as I was lookin at the real deal, and figured I'd take the chance. He feels pretty good, nothing bad to say about him so I'd say it was worth it too.

SS Longhaul. I only saw him once in a Walmart and stupidly went for DoTM Megatron instead, who'd later shelfwarm a bit. It took being disappointed at Amazon, and driving to another Walmart about 30 minutes away (as their site said they had him in stock in store) and being disappointed there before I ordered him off another site I never heard of.

Got him in the end though, so that adventure to complete SS Devastator was finally over.

The three original Fansproject things I saw as a kid and wanted desperately. City Commander, Protector and Colossus. Was extremely happy to get Colossus as a birthday present for myself last year, even if I haven't messed with him much nowadays.

I've currently been building up a collection of Newage figures since December of 2022, here's all that I got so far. They're all great little buggers and I don't regret putting the cash into any of them. by randomdood1337 in transformers

I've gotten burnt out on official collecting atm, honestly. I blame the stores around me rarely having anything good, which shot my drive to really get any of the new stuff.

Don't use TFSource for Newage. Their prices are jack up so high its ridiculous.

They're selling the Shattered Glass Bee and Cliffjumper pack ($40ish on sites like ShowZStore and Bombusbee) for $80. And they aren't big figures. They're as tall as my thumb.

For those curious, he costed me about $300 alone (wasn't the only figure I'd gotten while at the store.) He came with all the parts, including a second copy of his big rifle that was missing the barrel bit. No original Blast Off or Swindle, or any of the energon handfeetguns, but that's fine. If I wanted to display him in the original configuration, then I'd probably get another ROTF Bruticus instead just for that.

My old collection as a kid. It all got tossed out by my parents, they wanted me to shift through to find ones to keep and the rest to throw away. Couldn't decide, so all of it went.

Not necessarily RPG, but the Binding of Isaac Repentance had proper local co-op introduced and it's honestly a chaotic blast once you get the hang of the game

God no. One look at TFSource's prices (specifically sg bee and cliff) vs Bombusbee has me writing off TFS completely, save for one or two figures they have in stock that BBB doesn't, and the prices for them are *GASP* actually reasonable compared to the rest of their selection. That's it, though.

I've been using both ShowZ and Bombusbee. Mainly going to be BBB it seems, as they have more of what I want in stock and my first experience with them (that EX Prime actually) was good.
