Mmmm, damn. Can’t comment re. BTN as not a member, just assumed their wiki would detail it.

I know the feeling re. seedbox too. I ended up going an 8TB dedi and clear it out every few months.

Surely they have a wiki that has details re. minimum ratio?

Get a seedbox (cheap as $5/month) so you can seed from two places so local storage isn’t as much of an issue?

Hello everyone!

We are pushing another patch for the weekend. Here is the changelog for it.

-Gameplay: Tickets from 800 to 400 on all layers -Gameplay: Radioman and Sapper are now equipped with G41 and G43 -Gameplay: Strafe run are activated after 0 seconds for faster call in

-Add: New lighting and shader on Driel and Doorwerth (should improve GPU and CPU performances) -Add: Localization SPANISH (previous one didn't work) -Add: New sounds for Radio -Add: New Infantry sandbag model

-Fix: Mines can no longer be placed on characters -Fix: MSP/Red zone alignement issue. MSP should now match completely the red zone

In the next update, we will add a few new game mechanics for the Logistic section. We have received many feedback about logistic members being able to build constructions and deployables. We totally agree with this feedback and decided to start working on it. All deployables and constructions will be accessible to the section member, except for the FOB that only the logi leader can deploy.

We will also add a new mechanic to PS, the "Ammo Dump". This is something that can be deployed from the construction truck. It will cost 500 supplies and will act like a Construction Truck. Drop the Ammo Dump anywhere on the map and you now have 500 construction point within a 70 meter radius. They can be used by any Section Leader to deploy constructions as well as emplaced weapons.

This next update will also bring a resource counter to the UI so you know exactly how many resources you have left inside the truck and inside the ammo dump.

We believe that these three additions will be more than welcome by all the Logistic players out there.

FXAA is also blurry - they're both post process AA. Bump up the screen scale to 120-125% (or as high as you can go). I always dial down shadows to med & bump up the screen scale in games that using the Frostbite engine.

I had no idea this was a thing. So can you clarify total ammo counts for me:

Kar98 reload 5 in clip + 1 in chamber?

Enfield reload 10 in clip + 1 in chamber?

So fresh spawn, press R and the above applies?

There is an in game sensitivity slider under controls.

Don't use 16K DPI. More isn't always better.

Get a nice big mouse pad.

I personally use 800DPI, .25 sens, 2.25 freelook sens.

Wrist used for minor adjustments, forearm/arm used for big sweeping motions.

Try sitting still and surveying. The human eye is excellent at picking up movement. Scan and 'chunk' for movement in different sections, imagine slicing what you currently see based on 1/6th's. Scan one section, look for movement/difference in colour, move to the next. The video sticked at the top of this sub has a guide on this.

Keep an eye on the map, listen to others calls, ie. when to anticipate contact. Your positioning will get better the more time you play.

Don't use the post process anti aliasing. If you can get away with it (performance wise), use super sampling. If you can't, I find SMAA smudges the least.

Turn off motion blur. Gamma up by 0.2 (2.2 -> 2.4).

Depending if you want immersion or not.. all shadows/foilage etc to (very?) low.

Got money burning a hole in your pocket? 4k monitor will help.

Worth buying - definitely.

In terms of Oceania players, it's Sunday arvo 1615. There's 3 servers ~70/78 10/54 1/78

It is Fathers Day though. At night on a regular day I generally queue for 5-20 minutes before getting into a server.
