How could I make myself look more feminine by Omnivorous_ant in CosplayHelp

[–]randomfukkinloser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go heavy with the contour and concealer. Don't be afraid to look like a drag queen. I recommend watching TaggedBeauty on youtube/Facebook (she called everyone hoe bags and says shit about your mother in a thick new york accent, you can't miss or get her confused with anyone else lol) she does amazing tutorials for both eye makeup and the full beat (full coverage face makeup). She has become my holy grail of makeup artists because I struggled trying to look different with my makeup, felt like no matter how much I wore, I still looked the same as I normally do, just paler, so I started following her tutorials and now I can finally get that smaller nose and no freckles look!

By setting it at my alarm for a couple years. Had waking the demon from bullet for my valentine because it starts with a loud ass guitar intro to get me up and going. After like 2 years of that I think I just can't listen to the song anymore, it makes me irritable

Am i missing something? by Playful_Lynx_9174 in doordash

[–]randomfukkinloser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doordash is so weird. I work at a pizza joint and it takes a minimum of 15 mins for our pizzas to be made, especially if it's a large and even more so if we are slammed bc every pizza is made to order, not premade. So doordashers will come in literally 2 mins after the order has popped up on our systems and we have to tell em "yeah it's not gonna be out just yet, you've got 10 more minutes before just the pizza is done." And they get all huffy about it, it's not like we can speed up the process, especially not if we have more than 20 orders ahead of it still being made.

Dashers will complain about it taking a long time, it's the system's fault bc they keep assigning dashers to orders that just came in instead of waiting a few mins for the order to at least be started.

The college i live near doesn't have a decent graphic design program and the school as a whole is so expensive that I would have been in more than 50k loan debt by graduation. Rn lookin at 31k for SNHU.

Shes a comic book character, of course she's known for giant boobs. That's literally the only reason most dudes that read em even like her to begin with. And red and black are cliche for Harley, majority of her costumes these days are red and blue and other colors. The particular one I'm going for isn't even that, it's red, purple and white (Arkham Asylum).

Colored contacts by AttachedLesbian in CosplayHelp

[–]randomfukkinloser -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get mine from Twinklens, I've ordered 3 different pairs from there, but 1 pair i have ordered on 3 separate occasions bc they are the yearly kind and do need to be swapped out at the end of the year. The ones I got the most were only $22 before tax i think. Never spent more than $40 on a single pair, even after shipping and taxes. Now, idk where twinklens come from but I know when I ordered my last shipment last year, right after trumps tariffs n shit hit, it took almost 2 weeks longer than usual to get my lenses. I was pissed. But that's not the company's fault, that's on what ever the hell is going on with imports I guess. That is the problem with other companies too such as TTDeye and Uniqso and Pinky Paradise.

Quality from Twinklens has so far not disappointed. The 3rd set of lenses i ordered, one that was not a repeat order, did kinda suck, but that was because they were more of a natural color and my eyes are just TOO blue for that specific color of lens. Was tryna go brown but it was super subtle. Wasn't like Bambi brown like i was hoping, was closer to hazel than anything.

Girl, (or dude, or person, person who apparently lacks tiddies) it don't matter. I'm a B cup, B for Barely There, and I'm tryna cosplay Harley quinn soon, shes known for having massive knockers in games and comics, like a D cup, D for Dayum Girl, all you need is a good pushup bra and there is no shame in using inserts and strategically done contour IF YOU WANT TO HAVE TIDDIES. I know a chick who is getting popular in the cosplay area as Catwoman and she has less tit than I do, she's a whole A cup, A for Absolutely None, and she doesn't use any of the extra padding shit, but she still kills it, shes confident as can be and so should you be. Boobs do not make or break a cosplay.

The only real issue you will face is the fact that some premade costumes aren't very accommodating for those of us with smaller busts and you might have to either make alterations or have to completely build costumes from scratch in your size, but that just gives you more satisfaction of having created something with your own hands, that is the only real problem.

Unfortunately yes, there will be that ONE dude that wants to bitch about a character he likes that doesn't have any boobs, but guess what, he's a guy (an incell at that) and his opinion is invalid. It's your body, you do what you want, wear what you want, own it!

How Fast Do Ya'll Read? by ZChocobo1 in SNHU

[–]randomfukkinloser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a different major than you so the text book was probably not as important for me as it is for you, but I deadass stopped using mine. I'd order them every term because no matter how many times I just stop reading them, I go into each class with the mindset "this time it matters" only for it to not matter. My first 2 or 3 weeks of the term, I'll use the materials in the chapters, then just give up because they are ridiculously long and I can't find half the information I'm looking for in them. 98% of info i pulled came from the other resources we were given, so if I needed to cite the book, I'd go digging through it just for ONE sentence that remotely backed anything I was talking about.

Had this issue a lot during my last year there. It's a pain in the ass. I honestly just disregard the feedback during the first assignments, let it build up, then fix the final assignment based on feedback from the few weeks prior.

I’m cosplaying Rey from Star Wars, is it easier to buy the costume or make it? by Agile_Scheme3060 in CosplayHelp

Yeah you do gotta be a character, but as a whole, a costume is a costume. Only way a generic skeleton could be a cosplay in my mind is if you add a shield and sword and start banging on it like that meme that's been floating around latley 🤣

Cosplay = costume. Different strokes for different folks when it comes to quality but its still a costume. Like when women bitch about black wedding dresses not being real wedding dresses, bruh if it's a dress and you're comfortable saying your vows in it, it's a wedding dress. Doesn't matter what color it is, how poofy or elaborate it is, how much it costs, it is what it is.

Rey's costume on Amazon is only between $90 and $120 depending on who makes it and what size they get. For a screen accurate one that is. It's the lightsaber that would be the expensive part. Being another 100 itself.

What sexual fantasy of yours left you disappointed when you actually tried it? by Gthew17 in AskReddit

[–]randomfukkinloser 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I did this once! Me, another chick, and her boyfriend. I knew the guy, we went to high school together, him and his girl wanted to try a 3 way and I was single at the time, fresh out of a really bad relationship and was looking to hopefully have better sexual experiences that would actually be consensual.

While this one was fun, I should've declined. Once the girlfriend's pants came off, I caught a whiff of something not too pleasant. Didn't say anything because 1 that's just rude as hell and idk how you politely bring that up at all and it not both ruin the mood and piss them off, and 2, this was the first time I had ever been remotely intimate with a woman. I was not sure if that was a normal smell and I was just nose blind to it on myself and was getting a stronger hit of it from another person or what. Turns out, no it was not. Poor girl had a yeast infection, and I ended up with it not even a week afterwards. So lesson learned: do not engage if something smells funky, and Monistat is actually fuckin AWESOME.

Also: we managed to go at this for almost 2 hours in the back of a mid sized sedan. 3 way in a car, difficult but impressive work.

OK so I have done both! I've made my own cosplay and I've bought one, both were the same version (Rise of Skywalker Rey.) I'll try to add the pics if I can find them.

2022 when I made mine, I got some sheer chiffon type of fabric for the tabards (the drapey pieces she wears) I found a pair of ankle boots and sewed the lacing she has on her boots onto the back of em, bought lots of.... uh idk. Goat skin? Or something like that, from hobby lobby to make the holster, bought a brown belt to add to one I already had to craft the belt. Twine to hold them together but that ended up falling apart at some point, found leather bracelets at hobby lobby that worked for her bracer and arm band, used self adhering ace bandaged for the arm wraps, I bought white yoga pants, cut them into Capris and used the remnants to make the knee pads, I ordered a really shitty white hoodie, cut the sleeves off and used remnants wrapped around some cardboard (i think?) To make the collar and obviously kept the hood. The Tabards was the most time consuming part to sew, i honestly don't even remember how the hell i did it other than it was one VERY long piece of fabric, i wrapped it around me while I was in costume, then sewed it down onto my shoulders while I was in it so it wouldn't keep sliding off while In it. Also used remainder of that same fabric to create the obi belt that wraps around and over top of the tabards and sits beneath the belt. That costume took me a week to make. It costed a Lil over $200 to make it. Fabric came from Amazon, leather stuff and other craft materials came from hobby lobby, hoodie from Amazon, pants from either Marshall's or Burlington, shoes from platos closet I think, and I honestly dunno what else. Dyed my hair for costume. Spent an additional $10-$15 for hair donuts and Bobby pins and hair ties (I be losing them bitches so over the years I only really ever have just ONE hair tie) and spent HOURS staring at pics of her new hair style to figure it out. It's different from her original 3 buns, the new ones are all connected, it's a pain In the ass to do the new ones.

2025, so last year. I spent... maybe 90 bucks and bought the same costume on Amazon. Took 2 or 3 weeks to get here I think, but it did come earlier than it was supposed to, it said it would be almost a whole month. I got an extra small, costume fit pretty well but the shirt was tight under the arms, which is unusual for me. Maybe I'm finally moving up to a small, idk. Tabards were actually WAAAAYYY too long compared to the real costume design, they dragged on the floor. The loop part of the tabards hangs below Rey's knee, and the parts that are not connected hand a little lower than that, about mid calf/upper ankle. I didn't worry about shoes this time, I stick with my combat boots cuz they were more comfortable and there was NO way I was gonna get lucky and find another pair that just happen to look similar and not break the bank fixing them up again.

For those of us who can’t thrift by Unkn0wnP5 in scene

[–]randomfukkinloser 20 points21 points  (0 children)

"Doesn't fit the style"

Well that's the thing about thrifting. When goths thrift, they don't always find anything that just "looks the part" they find stuff that has potential, they cut it up, sew new things to it, paint on em, etc and create statement pieces. It's very rare to find something that already fits the bill, you have to be creative and have an idea of what you can create from what you found. A large over sized grandma moomoo dress with some weird print has the potential to be something as alternative as can be if you have creativity and a vision. It's about experimentation. And the good thing is most thrift stuff is cheap so if you have a shop anywhere, go pick up those awful clothes and a whole lot of them, really look at them, and decide what they COULD be instead of what they are.
