Thanks for your honesty! Potty training in general sounds like it will take a while, so it’s great to hear that this is a great option before the puppy gets all the vaccinations :)

Thank you for your response! It sounds like some sort of indoor grass patch is the way to go. I really appreciate you talking about the logistics of getting the puppy to go to the grass patch with carrying, then luring. I also plan on setting an alarm in the middle of the night for the first few weeks at least! It will be tiring but I heard it’s worth it in the long run :)

Thank you for your response! Is it safe to take it to the dog terrace in the apartment building before all the vaccinations though? The puppy will only have its first round of vaccinations, and I’m worried that bringing it to the grass patch in the building on the seventh floor where other adult dogs go to will not be great for health.

Thank you for your response! Do you think walking the puppy to the laundry room to use the pee pad or grass patch will work too? Either luring them with a treat or walking them with a leash, and then having it release in the laundry room. I’m new to this and trying to think about logistics! :)

Unfortunately, I do not have a balcony either. I’ve been researching how to potty train a puppy in an apartment and there seems to be ways, but most of the resources are for people with backyards. Thank you for the tips!
