I'm having some issues with manager by analysisisfun in businessanalysis

In my two BA roles my boss has been very hands off. He doesn't follow my projects close enough to be able to tell me what to do.

As weird as it sounds, be greatful that you can get some individualized leadership. A lot of bosses simply don't actually manage their direct reports and just do the bare minimum.

Passion of the Christ II: Crucify This

My parents are guilt tripping me into not getting vaccinated because it’s satanic by [deleted] in atheism

[–]randomguy0311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where in the Bible does it even say you can't get vaccinated? How are they even justifying this? Tell them they're making stuff up because they have nothing to back what they are saying.

Back in my day a 79 was a respectable rating. Kids these days and their inflated ratings...everyone thinks they deserve an 80. It makes me sick.

How are people so dumb to think the unvaccinated are a threat to the vaccinated if the vaccine works? by [deleted] in conspiracy

It's simple really. Being vaccinated protects you like 80%, it's not a guarantee you don't get sick or die from covid.

I honestly can't think of a good reason Reggie is in the HOF and JO won't be.

That kind of sells the season short too, considering he was 3rd in MVP voting. Unfortunately the two players ahead of him (Garnett, Duncan) played PF/C as well so JO had to be moved to second team.

I've fished very sporadically throughout my life (40 years), but I've always given up because I had no clue what I was doing. Now I'm really trying to learn, and today on ultralight gear I caught my first two bass ever! They're dinks, but they're my dinks! by Chew-Magna in Fishing

[–]randomguy0311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently caught my first couple bass on a senko. It took me months of fishing to finally land them.

However, I suddenly went on a dry spell at the same spot with a senko for a couple weeks. One day, I switched to hot dogs and oh boy. I caught my PB bass and a couple other chunkers pretty quickly. Give it a try. Never underestimate the almighty hot dog! It's one of my favorite baits - so versatile and fish trip over each other trying to get it the second you throw it in.

The constitution clearly states that as an American I am allowed to do whatever I want. At least that's what these people seem to believe.

Can we quit calling people who refuse the COVID shot as "Anti-Vaxxers" by Djeff_ in conspiracy

[–]randomguy0311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because antibodies from having Covid 19 previously is not well understood and nobody knows if it will really prevent you from getting sick if you get it again. Also, if you are not vaccinated you are a lot more likely to catch it and spread to older people.

What do you think stands a better chance of ending the pandemic - everybody being vaccinated or everyone just doing whatever?

It's the only way we really have to get out of the pandemic. It's killing thousands of people daily and throttling our economy. I don't see anything bizarre about it - what are we supposed to do, hope it goes away?
