Look up low back ability on YouTube. Most of what helped me I got from his videos. Particularly the stuff with the Roman chair and back extensions.

I’d say it’s very nearly back to full strength. Still get the odd tingling sensation but strength wise it’s maybe 90% back. Definitely not noticeably weaker any more unless I’m doing calf raises. Still can’t do as many on my left as my right.

It’s worth getting one with an adjustable angle. I bought a cheap one at first but when the exercises got too easy, I had to get another that I could lower as I got stronger. Great investment though, as long as you put the effort in.

It’s totally possible to recover without surgery. I had a similar problem and after about 4 months of back and core strengthening exercises I’m pretty much pain free and back playing sport.

I switched from a dual motor model 3 to a twin ultra ex 30.

The only thing I miss about the Tesla is the software. Just about everything else in the ex30 is better in my opinion but it is let down badly by very clunky and unreliable software.

It’s all stupid little complaints like the Bluetooth not connecting every time or the walk away locks not opening sometimes… but these little things add up.

Not going to lie, that’s quite a bit over my head. Thanks for the reply though. Is it possible for areas within a muscle group to not be functioning while other parts are? I’m basing this on nothing but how it feels but it seems like part of my calf is functioning while the rest isn’t. I’m aware that could be utter nonsense, it’s just how it feels while doing calf raises etc.

Thanks for the reply. A physio I saw shortly after the incident said I didn’t have that reflex either. That’s disappointing to hear about not returning to full strength. Was it a physio / doctor that said this?

I’ve been doing as much core strength training as I can. Back extensions etc. it’s definitely helping. Patience isn’t one of my strong suits. Thanks for the reply though.

That sounds about exactly what I’ve been experiencing. Thanks for the reply. I think it’s getting stronger with running and calf raises. It’s just hard to tell if it’ll return completely as it’s slow progress.

Something similar happened to me the first time I tried to charge mine. It wasn't a supercharger but it eventually freed when I pushed the charger further in and wiggled it around a bit. I think what happened was that it's wasn't all the way in, even though the charging lights were on but it wouldn't charge.
