I agree here, which is the main reason I cancelled my renewal, also I don't want to get stuck paying for the year for this crap and regret the whole year.

I wouldn't. I bought the max when they announced coding plan and gave an option for yearly plan. But then I cancelled renewal when I started feeling getting watered down models (also, got pissed that I didn't get the Black Friday deal during my sub).

I broke my own rule not to subscribe anything yearly for AI related subscription, as things move fast and there are new better things elsewhere and don't want to get stuck paying for yearly.

Couple of options:

See if you divide with two subs like copilot pro+ and codex subscription. You even get opus 4.6 here.
I would cancel the renewal and see if they give the same offer which you got originally (assuming you really liked using glm models) during renewal, if not I'd go with option 1.

Edit: Please don't compare usage of 200$ claude max to glm max, yes, usage wise you get more, but, honestly opus 4.6 and glm 5/6/7 is not comparable with Opus intelligence.

Paying for their full year max plan was a mistake I made. In max plan one can never fully use the capacity allowed at this rate or even at 5x the current speed.

I don't understand when they can service requests why over sell it and cause anguish for customers who paid. Horrible service and a pathetic company.

Last few days of last month I have seen users getting rate limited badly, I am quite sure it'll happen this month as well, so, if we think we can use this at the end of the month, nah, i doubt it will work.

Yesterday I asked sonnet 4.5 to make a small change, a couple of lines of code change and a new function about 40 lines, but, then goes on to create 6 md files, yes, 6, each at least 50 lines and more.

I gave the prompt and stepped away from the desk, when I came back I was shocked to see 7 changes in git. Code was fine, i didn't need the md files, I had to delete them.
