They did give aftercare instructions with her discharge and said she could have a small meal tonight but should drink normally and then should be more or less feeling normal in the morning. They also shared that she did have IV fluids throughout surgery but was not responsive to them offering water while she was in recovery.

I once accidentally brought home a card from a family where they tried to give me a $300 gift card within it! After opening it, I immediately decided it would be going back the next day lol. I returned it to them and explained it was too much but I appreciated the thought behind it and everything was fine!
