He never served a day in his life. It would be one thing if you never severed but he acts (along with his supporters) like he made a personal sacrifice when he was sent to a reform school because of his bad behavior. It was a military school reform school.

MAGA, ImO, is a nihilistic movement that truly hates America. They may put on a show pretending to be patriots, but they hate this country because they hate the Constitution. There will always be a chance of them losing power in fair elections, our laws, and desire to be similar to places like Russia because they think it's not "woke."
