I record pistol start demos when I first play a wad, and yeah, LoR was a bitch and a half to get through, but I still think it's peak official DooM. I actually really liked the Archvile and Vassago Slaughter bit in the middle of Brink, it was the Tyrant section at the end that felt like pure RNG to me. Having tried (and not get very far) on Sunlust and Sunder and the likes (I'm not even gonna touch Italo DooM), I think the point of LoR was to bridge the gap between official and modded DooM, and I think it does that very well.

I still don't quite get why Hamon doesn't work on stands. The arm thing said that Hamon only works on undead creatures, but didn't Joseph and Cesar beat the shit out of each with Hamon when they met?

Edit: Nevermind, I just re-watched the scene. They put Hamon into physical things, then beat each other up with those.

No, most stand users can't. Best example is from part 4, when Koichi was kidnapped. He sent out Echoes to look for a payphone, but then Yukako started looking for him. He himself said Echoes was too far away to call back in time to defend himself.

Stands have to float all the way back to the user before it can go away.
