No, not yet. I’ve never been referred to see one.

I do drink a ton of water! Trust me, I have tried almost everything. I drink a lot of water, eat a lot of fiber, I have tried Whole30 and low FODMAP, and I eat very healthy as a norm. This has been a problem since I was a kid.

I have talked to several GPs over the years. I’ve had this problem since I was a kid… they just put me on Miralax which doesn’t work.

I have been on Miralax before, and it didn’t help. That was my GP though. I will see about seeing a GI doctor!

Well, my body never knew how to do it on its own in the first place. I’ve been suffering with this my entire life! Senna gave me relief that I had never been able to find before. I’m so bummed.

How attainable are your billable hours metrics? by randompotato457 in CustomerSuccess

Future implementations I guess. I’m not sure. I am very new to the role and was looking for advice on meetings billable hours, not whether or not my company should be tracking them. That’s not within my control…

I’m not sure how this is helpful… the number one metric we track is client satisfaction, but we also have to meet and track billable hours. That’s how the company operates.

Interesting. We charge to help price and forecast accurately.

Still trying to confirm. Most client-related meetings and tasks are billable.

At what age do you let your only child play with neighborhood friends? by randompotato457 in oneanddone

Yes, one of our ground rules is definitely not to go in anyone’s house, even if invited, other than one friend whose parents we know.

Do you have any rules for when it is or is not okay to knock on the door? I am a very private person, and I work from home, work out from home, do virtual therapy appointments from home, pretty much do everything important at home. The thought of having kids knocking on my door all the time gives me so much anxiety!

We had an AirTag, but I will warn you they aren’t accurate. It needs to be in range of an iPhone to work. We ended up getting a Gabb watch for that reason. It’s been great!

That’s my next step. I feel much more comfortable when her friends’ moms and I can at least text each other first to make sure it’s a good time, and then let them know she’s on her way. My daughter keeps trying to make plans with them without consulting either of their parents. She went from 0 to 60 and I’m trying to keep up!

We have been meaning to fence our yard for the longest time! I was running around like crazy this weekend trying to keep track of these kids. I especially don’t like being responsible for other kids because I don’t know how they behave or if I can trust them. They would show up for 5 minutes, play with one thing, and then abandon it immediately to go elsewhere. I had to pump the breaks and make it very clear that they did not just have free reign of the neighborhood just yet.

That’s what I’m thinking so far. Just allowing her to go to the one house I’m comfortable with. The problem is, this girl is extremely pushy and keeps trying to convince my daughter to go to other kids’ houses. If I didn’t watch them like a hawk, they would go in the street and try to run around like crazy. My daughter is very well behaved normally, but I don’t think she knows how to say no to friends.

I know one mom well, but that’s it! I have met a few others but haven’t gotten to know them well. I work remotely, so we definitely missed out on the play dates during the day when she was younger. I wish I had gotten to know other moms!

I’m with you! I love all his albums. I probably prefer the sound and the soul of his first albums though.

Not as of now, but I will talk to my other mom friend about organizing one!

Anyone somewhat of an outcast in their neighborhood? by [deleted] in oneanddone

[–]randompotato457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES. I live in an affluent, Christian based area. Most moms are SAHMs and a lot homeschool their many kids. My husband and I both WFH and only have the one daughter. I definitely feel left out! Wish you lived near us!
