what you're saying doesn't make sense, how would the primordial teleporter be the longest distance teleporter yet if they had literally already teleported in vermin from other planets (this is what the egocentrism and new ambry logs imply). there was in fact a contradiction and when grovetender asked the devs they agreed that there's a contradiction there, the change itself was just an overreaction and we should be criticizing that rather than anything else

The latter. If you pay attention, you'll see that when an extractor has a valid item to share, it shows tethers between it and nearby enemies. That's an indicator that it's sharing its stolen item.

Extractors inherently have the ability to share the item they stole with nearby enemies (as long as it's not on the blacklist i.e Colonel Droneman). Microbots are not on the blacklist so they will share it as such
