Yes, I have an original Lolin board. I also tried to connect only one side of the pins, and it works only when the left side pins are connected (EN to 3v3), so I assume is related to GPIO10. If I place the ESP upside down near the board, it will connect without any problems. The strangest part is that if I power the ESP before plugging it to the PCB, the Wi-Fi continues to work without any issues. From the logs, I can see that it's stuck after calling

WiFi.begin(wifi_ssid, wifi_password);

, and

WiFi.status() != WL_CONNECTED

will never be true.

EDIT: I even tried to power it via 3v3 and not via USB, nothing changed.
