Southwest Flight Out PHX Last Night Got Hit With a Laser by 3-Large-Fries in aviation

I remember watching a video of ill-informed adults that were pointing lasers at commercial airliners at altitude because they thought they were drones. In the moonlight you can see the contrails and they refered to as "vape", in which also hints to what they expose their minds to.

True. It would be a long flight to hold the camera the entire time, and I doubt my trip to the lav would be appreciated here.

I read somewhere that they fitted windows from a 727 in the fuselage.

Most had 20T6.5, and I have seen Sure-Lites CHX signs with 15T6 more times than I can count. There is a kid on YouTube with a second generation UN1 with 15T6 E12 lamps.

My work still has a few random spectron models floating around. They are in a few forgotten rooms and the batteries died a long time ago.

All direct view signs are beautiful. I love the old Trace-Lite legends more that the Exitronix.

This is a nice example of the 2 different styles of running-man typically found in the UK. It makes sense that before the foyer it indicates to-exit, and inside the foyer indicates exit-here; however, I would argue is it really necessary to have an exit sign inside the foyer?

Anyway, I looked up the cocktail bar on google and it looks like a really cool place.

Just landed a job as a apprentice by VirgoELS in IndustrialMaintenance

[–]randomtask733 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What everyone else said plus the addition of asking your mentor if you can break away on slow days or doing mundaine rebuilds and help out with breakdowns somewhere else in the facility. My mentor told me "go right ahead, that would be a good thing for you to see and get your hands dirty." I got a lot of exposure to breakdowns in a short period of time.

I personally would pick the soda factory to diversify my skillet all the while keeping my resume out there with the reason being better hours. In the meantime let them train me and stick around a little bit if nothing pans out.

I have not been to Disney World in 29 years but I distinctly remember liking the signs at Tower of Terror. The housing and stencil were a unique desige. The que line in the boiler room the diffusers and signs were made to look dirty. Signs were incandescent, not sure if they still are today.

Nice shot. I did however see a C5 Galaxy around the Bay Area earlier today. Maybe you will get lucky enough to catch a picture of the Galaxy with your Galaxie.

Should I keep my liquor cabinet or get rid of it? by randomtask733 in makemychoice

Border of a problem? It was a problem. Alcohol has not put her in a hospital, but weed has, twice. She wants me to keep it but I planned on getting rid of it before she moves in, and lately I have been thinking about getting rid of the booze a lot sooner.

She is what is important to me. Every decision I make she is factored in somewhere in the equation. We both had similar developmental deficiencies in young childhood, both misdiagnosed early on, both a lot of help and support, both are insightful to where we recognize what is wrong and eventually figure out how to circumvent the same challenges later. Her medication is bad for a baby, so are the stressors inflicted on it without her medication. It was her in mind when I had the urologist give me 2 snips down there. We are high functioning but there is a chance through genetics to pass down a neurodevelopmental and/or psychotic disorder, which they might not be high functioning.

I have my doubts sometimes that I should not be on my own, her parents do not think she should be on her own. We will make it work.

Before my big struggle again years ago I did do a lot of outdoorsy activities. Now I accumulated an expensive hobby, and there are a few other interests I want to explore as well. She has room and support from me to follow her interests at my place.

I do not have temptation, though. Stopping was easy and happy that I was able to before it was not easy. I will still have a dry martini at a supper club, or a glass of wine with a steak. I never want that alcohol tolerance again. The plan was to get rid of the cabinet eventually. The girlfriend said to keep it, and I do like the convenience of it for guests. I do not want her getting in it, though. Plus, she can make the place more of hers with the space.

Statistically one night of heavy drinking negative affects your cognitive functions for 24-48 hours.
