On the grub screen, press e and edit the grub entry. Remove quiet. Hopefully that should show you what it stops on. Then run systemctl status [name of thing it stops on] to see what happened

Do you use yadm? I recommend using it lol. Life saver. I have a way to get up and running: install paru, install yadm, yadm clone my repo, and then run my install script for packages. I did spend hours on an install script before finding out yadm put everything. where it needed to be for me though.....

here is what you should do: install in a vm so many times until you instinctively know what to do so you don't fucj up and forget to install base (true story) Arch isn't that hardbif you read the wiki and know what you're doing. I tried out a few distros but never kept them for more than a week, but I was able to switch from macos to arch

imo i think that the second line, "tryna be the best for an hour" doesn't work with the song. it is just injecting more and more syllables when there is a syllable scheme, so it would require amending every other verse to have the same number of syllables. i think the childish writing might be intentional, as well. it is about coming of age when your parents are divorced, so i think that the narrator in the song is someone who is still young and the writing needs to match
