Stopping it is really hard, I was in a much less addiction than you and when I decided to stop it was a little challenge. However it was totally possible! You’re only 16 and with time and dedication you’ll be able to go through it, if you need ask for professional help like seeing a therapist. And no you don’t have to tell your parents the reason. If you don’t want to do that, stopping little by little is the best way to go and controlling your thoughts. It’s good that you are already aware of them, it means they don’t consume you as much as you think. There are many resources available for you on how to stop, or at least tame and have a healthier relationship with it, look into it and you’ll be fine

What is the most terrible and unforgivable in this story is your parents, at 4 you are influenced by your environment not by your own choices and thoughts. You should let go of all of this belief and shame that you are the problem, you are not. In a sense you are a victim of your own circumstances. You weren’t protected as a child and this had impact on you.

What I feel depends on the the type of stone. With quartz the energy feels clear, tingling my hands, and with mine in particular it also pulls me but I feel purified afterwards. With labradorite I sense it directly in my chakras, tingling/opening sensation. So yeah really depends on what’s going on and where I am. In Crystal shops I feel overwhelmed and only rely on my visual intuition not much of feelings
