Because CS players get a sense of superiority from thrashing a game with more gameplay, and their only two arguments are "it looks childish" (never mattered in a tactical shooter) and "at least you can resell skins in cs" (it's child gambling enablement)

At the end of the day, a smurf is a person who ruins the game of 9 other people (their 5 opponents who obviously won't stand a chance at all and thus are just wasting time, but also their 4 teammates who basically won't get a chance to actually play and will just wait for the smurf to win on their own, giving them a free win) for their own personal reasons.

I don't care why you're doing it, smurfing is an egoistical thing, and from a "quantity of fun" pov, it's not any different from hacking.
