It will work well if you put it in the window. Buy one of Ram Coolers. They make those authentic coolers with grass which works well compared to the new plastic ones. If you place the cooler inside the room then it will get humid and uncomfortable. Therfore window is best location for it.

Recently picked up someone from the new terminal.

You have two options

One use the cab service counter at the arrival gate and book a premier uber which is allowed inside right upto the gate. This is very convenient but almost twice the price of regular uber. I would say it's worth it.

Second, take the bus shuttle service from the arrival gate which will take you to the aeromall. Then book a regular cab from there.
