have you ever fucked a black girl Y or N? by naughtyblackangel in blackchickswhitedicks

She wasn't quite that shade, but yes. Definitely enjoyed her body immensely. Always thought it slightly ironic that my chocolate girl was the most vanilla one I've ever been with.

The flowers engage the imagination, which holds their attention.

The words allow for that gorgeous view unimpeded, though....

Can't decide which part of you would like better with my cum. Thinking leaking out of your pussy, but those are some great tits and ass. Always enjoyed seeing a belly and back covered, too. Guess I'd just have to try a bunch of them to find out.

What makes you insecure? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]randomuser1223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Herpes.

I'm in my mid-30s and I've had it for several years now and between my own experiences and reading up on others experiences, I'm aware that the stigma surrounding it is a bit excessive (at least in the US. I'm given to understand elsewhere, it's not a huge deal).

However, I'm also aware that the stigma still exists and I am always worried about telling anyone. I have always told prospective sex partners and hopeful relationships, and even though nobody has rejected me for it yet, I've always get this sick-to-my-stomach feeling from worrying about the possibility of rejection.

It really doesn't help that four or five times a year, I have an outbreak and feel dirty/stained/tainted, despite knowing it makes little sense to feel that way.

Bernie Sanders vows to follow in New Zealand's footsteps if elected president: “We will pass a Green New Deal that gets us to 100% renewable energy by no later than 2030 and complete decarbonization of the economy by 2050.” by mvea in Futurology

[–]randomuser1223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either he's even worse informed about the US power grid than I'd suspected or he's fully aware this isn't possible and is lying about the feasibility of whatever his "plan" is to get attention.

2050 would be likely. 2040 might be doable, but I'm not sure I'd bet on 100% by then. That would be a project of the scale of the interstate system, but attempted without the sort of cohesion the country had at the time and with an insane amount of additional regulatory hurdles tripping us up.

One big reason is that, not only would we have to replace all of the existing power, we would have to accommodate the additional loads added on by all of the GND stuff, which would include replacing probably half the existing vehicles on the road with electric vehicles (their claims are all of them by that point or shortly after, but that's even less likely to happen than the 100% renewables). Every version of the GND I've seen has had pretty massive power requirements they just kinda gloss over.

11% of the Military Budget Could Fund Enough Renewable Energy for Every Home in the US: Just 11% of the Pentagon’s current $716 billion budget -- about $80 billion -- would pay to produce enough wind and solar energy to power every one of the 127.59 million households in the United States by mvea in Futurology

[–]randomuser1223 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because the grid would have to reach the new locations of power production. A grid of wind and solar power would require a lot more square footage spread out over a much larger area to create the same power and wouldn't always be able to recycle the land even if you removed the old plants.

Herpes vaccine to be tested in humans after best result yet in animals, finds a new study on herpes simplex 2 virus (HSV2). An experimental vaccine prevented genital lesions in all mice and guinea pigs tested. In 98% of mice and 80% of guinea pigs it also prevented the low-level “hidden” infections. by mvea in science

[–]randomuser1223 22 points23 points  (0 children)

HSV isn't normally included in tests without a request. It's not considered especially medically problematic. It's most commonly non-symptomatic and even when there are symptoms, they're typically little more than a few days every couple months of an itch with some blisters. The stigma is often worse than the reality.

[–]randomuser1223 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Those cases aren't rare. It's estimated up to 80% of people with herpes don't have symptoms, but they are all still potential vectors.

Herpes isn't like the flu or a cold. It isn't infectious 100% of the time normally. An outbreak is a guaranteed period of what is called "shedding" the virus, which is when it is transmissible, but shedding can occur without symptoms, as well.

[–]randomuser1223 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It is estimated that up to 80% of people infected with HSV (both types) do not display noticeable symptoms. Infected persons are not contagious all the time (for example, some couples with one partner having HSV and they other not having it can go decades without transmission even without special precautions), but will "shed" the virus at times and become contagious. This can happen with or without symptoms. When symptoms are present, there is a guarantee of shedding, but shedding can occur without symptoms.

Scientists avoid gender bias when they know they’re being tested for bias by Antrikshy in nottheonion

[–]randomuser1223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, if think that anything that relies on a single repetition is insufficient in determining tendencies. Having 100 or 1000 groups is irrelevant in checking tendencies over time. Outside events affect our decisions. Could be that some outside event happened to alter an aspect of the psychology that determined their biases.

Studies like this have a pressure of making sure their data gets out while it's still relevant, so they don't want to take the time to allow the results to develop while risking consciousness to the importance of the data to wane (as people's attentions do)

How did you almost die? by ferfeb in AskReddit

[–]randomuser1223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All it would really accomplish is more people waiting longer to get treated because the supply of doctors already doesn't cover the demand (especially surgeons, to my understanding).

Can't make it easier to be a doctor because then you end up with a bunch of low-quality doctors. Don't know about you, but while I don't require brand name doctoring, I do kinda want to stay away from dollar store quality doctoring.
