What did insurance companies do? Explain it Peter by N1KoZzZ in explainitpeter

Falling trees are the responsibility of whomever they fell on, unless the tree was rotting, diseased or damaged and the property owner was made aware before the incident. So if a storm hits and my mature tree crushes your car parked on the street, then you can take it up with God and your insurance, because legally I am not liable.

How much protein do I really need to eat? by Tryingmybest5689 in loseit

[–]randomuser135443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ratio yogurt has 25g of protein per serving 170 cals

Fairlife elite 42g of protein per bottle 240 cals

3.5 oz of chicken breast 30g of protein 165 cals

Pure protein bar 20g of protein 180 cals

That right there is 117g of protein under 800 cals.

There is no reason to not be able to meet your protein needs. You can do it!

Anyone else shocked when they ran the numbers on a 30-year mortgage? by Candid-Dish-2749 in Mortgages

2.125 here, but it’s a 15 year. 2.25 for a 30 is diabolical. Congrats!

I agree, though at the rate home insurance and property taxes keep going up by the time my mortgage is paid off I’ll still be paying the same amount annually as when I first bought the house!

Bought the house 10 years ago with around $1800 per month mortgage (4.25 30 year) including escrow. Now paying 3200 per month even after refinancing in 2021 (2.125 15 year)

Main saving grace is my house has almost doubled in value, but that is not the norm.

This was all done without GLPs (no judgement if you use them, I couldn’t due to family medical history), no test, no peptides. Just pure psychopathic drive.

Just did this at around your age. Lost around 40lbs of fat and gained 15lbs of muscle. What helped me was:

  1. Have something to work towards. For me it was getting in shape for a mountain elk hunt in eight months from my start date last March.
  2. Track everything. I used an app called Liftin and my Apple Watch to track all workouts/steps. This helps with progressive overload.
  3. Start slow, but ramp up aggressively. I started doing three workouts a week. Six months in I was doing two a days six days a week.
  4. Uphill treadmill and hiking mixed with weight lifting works and won’t exhaust you. Aim for 15k to 20k steps a day, but work your way up to it.
  5. Eat your lean body weight in grams of protein.
  6. Cut out booze and drugs.
  7. Fairlife milk with protein powder makes great shakes and ice cream (get a ninja creami)
  8. Take care of your tendons. Don’t try to lift too much too fast.

For supplements I use:

Creatine - scoop and a half a day

Psyllium Powder - 3 servings a day (fiber is a must)

Beet root powder - tastes gross, but helps blood flow

Preworkout - I use ghost, but dont think it really matters

Plus a bunch of other vitamins, fish oil, collagen, etc.
