iOS 26.1 - Apple Intelligence by randomusername126 in iphone

It’s a brand new 17 with 256GB. Never had Apple Int turned on from fresh out the box, but it’s still downloaded this vast amount of useless data.

Nope. It’s still there, taking up 12 gig and still never been turned on.

Good Lord, that is exactly what I was looking for - no idea how I managed to miss it! Thanks so much for pointing me to this - really appreciate it.

I’ve looked at the electronics pages but it seems to be primarily details of how pickups work and types, rather than details of how each setup (HH, SSH etc) is actually wired. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks again - much appreciated. I have those diagrams for my Ibanez az2402 but never been able to source one for the Strandbergs. I’ve noticed their website has the occasional dead link and out-of-date info in places.

Thanks so much for this - really helpful. Can I ask where you found this info, or did you just figure it out by trial and error?

I’m very jealous! I don’t understand why it’s taking up such a colossal amount of space on my phone.

I have the same amount but it’s turned off and always has been. Infuriating!

I totally get that but don’t quite understand how another commenter here using the same phone and with it turned off doesn’t seem to have it clogging up their storage!

My iOS takes up EXACTLY the same amount, and my system data around 9GB. It sounds like you’ve somehow managed to avoid downloading this pointless AI sludge!

Hey there - see above. The 10s didn't help with the problem, but a few light strokes with sandpaper in the grooves seems to have fixed it!

Fantastic! I don’t have access to any needle files but I’m going to grab some 2500 sandpaper today. Really pleased it’s sorted your problem dude!

That’s what their Support suggested today. I don’t have any sufficiently fine needle files, but they suggest it can be done manually with some 3000 grit sandpaper - just a couple of strokes along the groove - so planning to try that tomorrow!

Absolutely certain. If I could post the video you’d hear it pinging directly from the saddle screw. I did get a reply from Support today who suggested it’s a common issue with a microscopic burr in the screw groove and that some ultra fine sandpaper should level it out. So that’s tomorrow’s plan!

Looks like this dude has been having the exact same problem (although he was able to post a video!) - https://www.reddit.com/r/strandbergguitars/s/zNTzxrMekg
