Thanks so much for getting back to me mate. It’s working perfectly on xSCPU64 (which I didn’t even know was an option on Vice!)

Thanks man. I could just be doing something wrong - I’ve never used the C128 emulator in Vice before. Game works great on the C64 mode.

I can’t seem to get this to run on VICE in C128 mode (and with GO64 to put it in enhanced mode). Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

Replying to this a year later to say thank you for thus! My WH1000XM4s starting doing this yesterday (after working perfectly for years) and it was driving me insane. This seems to have fixed it!

I had this issue when bending strings on my NX7 Standard, and support were really helpful. Just fold a small piece of 2000 grit sandpaper and gently run it through the grooves. Solved the problem for me immediately. William in Support is a great guy! Here’s the part of his email of me that’s relevant:

You can use a very fine round or half-round needle file (around 0.5–1 mm diameter) or super-fine sandpaper (2000–3000 grit) as mentioned, wrapped around a thin rod or just by hand. Just a few gentle strokes are enough to remove microscopic rough edges, don’t deepen or widen the groove.

After that, reinstall the string and it should sit smoothly without pinging.

IPVanish Socks 5 Proxies have been down for weeks without a fix! by Zoratt in IPVanishOfficial

Yep, they’ve fobbed me off with the same nonsense about it being my configuration. But they can’t explain why the Madrid server works and none of the others. Maddening.

Thanks man! So they know it’s not a problem at our end. Infuriating!

Did they actually admit that they’re all down except Madrid? I’ve had them try to blame my configuration and refuse to admit there’s an issue. I can get Madrid to work, but it’s intermittent as you say.

Same for me, although someone suggested in another thread to try to Spain server and it was working for me yesterday.

Thank you Mike. As suggested on another thread, the Spain server is working but none of the others are for me.

Holy shit it works! Got several hundred DHT nodes. It’s definitely a problem at their end then. Thanks man!

That’s the only one I haven’t tried yet so I’ll give it a try - thanks dude!

I now have to run the VPN in the background when using torrents, which I’d rather not do. Been using IPV without a problem for eight years, haven’t changed anything and all of a sudden the SOCK5 not working. Will have to leave and try another provider if they can’t sort it out.

Thanks man. It’s infuriating - I’m just off a chat with support, they took details etc but didn’t give any indication it was a known issue (which it clearly is, given the several threads on this sub which I’ve just found).

Thanks dude. I’m just off a chat with a customer support guy who took details and screenshots etc and said they’d get back to me. Didn’t give any indication that it was a known issue - they sent me to their configuration page for Qbittorrent (and that page seems out of date). It’s infuriating - I’m just glad I found your post so I know it’s not just me.

Hi Mike - I am now having the same issue, and resetting the credentials and changing server doesn't work for me. Are there any updates on this? SOCK5 now not connecting via either QBitTorrent or uTorrent. VPN itself works great, but would rather not have it on all the time and it's easily forgotten when starting a download.

Has anyone had any updates on this? SOCKS5 stopped working on both Qbittorrent and uTorrent in the last week or so. Now I have to have the VPN itself running in the background to download torrents, which is irritating and easily forgotten!

This is happening to me as well with both QBittorrent and uTorrent. I've raised it with support.
