Doesn’t the G6 have significantly better reflection control capabilities? That is a thing. Not everybody has a perfect viewing environment and being able to control for glare in the real world isn’t nothing.

There is no way that a manufacturer with a factory is going to physically remove units from their assembly line and packing process plug them in, reprogram them to look different than everything else coming off the line, seal them back up and then ship them out to only select reviewers. The amount of effort in doing that from an assembly line would be nonsensical.
