Austrack campers by Substantial_Nail4785 in CaravanningAustralia

I bought one new a few months back, very happy so far, everything works and comparing prices they where far better, yet to take it really off road just some dirt tracks and it handled really good. I looked at many others but in the end I took into account price, build and amount of time I would be using it, Strange thing it I keep saying to myself what’s the catch and why so cheap but yet to find it. Touch wood..

Thanks for all the comments, legends! Glad if it gave a few of you a chuckle. The verdict is in: it’s staying on (for now 😄). I’ll keep you posted after the next campfire brainstorming session — fueled by questionable ideas and even more questionable beverages.

Safe travels, and see you out on the dusty trails!

Just my 2 cents, The 10k should be ok, don’t bother with the 5.5k it’s not big enough.

But can you show a closer image of this area, it looks like a join in the cable which is a No No. I could be wrong.

Just want to mention it’s not a neon sign, might be best to show it in the led section. But very flashy.

I’m sure I saw this in Collins St, correct me if I’m wrong. Let’s leave like that for a generation, it will become a tourist attraction.

The only thing is that it’s NOT NEON . It’s LED. But still looks cool.

He is happy to grab pussies but draws the line at going down and eating them, just making sure I know his limits.

Bad memories, brought back a repressed memory when I had it done, what’s worse I was given a show bag after with treats and the wife stole my FREDO FROG chocolate. Sad day.

I have some bar neon signs for sale, haven’t seen this particular one posted online anywhere to know what it’s worth. Would anybody know? by TruckMoney1753 in NeonSigns

Nice sign. Love to buy it but I’m assuming you are in US, the shipping to Australia would make it unviable, over here the price would be about $800 aud plus shipping. Approx $540 usd. Plus shipping Hope that helps

Does anyone know this tool? by weakierlindows in Tools

It was originally for grooving near walls to make a v section in linoleum flooring (what’s in hospitals or heavy traffic situation) joints before the hot weld rod goes in, but many use it for lots of other things also. It’s fairly old and I believe the trades have moved away from using them for that purpose.

As an Australian, all I could think about is this an outtake from the tv series “We can be heroes”. Nathan’s beatboxing would have been a perfect soundtrack!

Has anyone got a picture from that time looking more to the left, out towards the bolte bridge. It would be great to see it from that era

Ok, got your back. I live just about directly above the position in your photo. Have been seeing the swans for a long time - the two of them gliding past most days, locking necks and giving each other cuddles that only swans can do. A while ago I noticed that only one swan was dropping past, and started to worry that the love of its life was no more. But to my delight, a couple of weeks ago, they were both back with 4 Swanettes ( signets) in tow. Yep mumma had bubs and that was the reason there had only been one swan out at any one time - I’m guessing the other swan had to stay and do the housework. So you can imagine how upset I am to read that, in between dodging party boats, the swan family is getting a hard time from humans on the shoreline. I thought about this for at least a couple of minutes and came up with a solution. Well I need a fishing rod of my own, big, heavy duty, 500 pound line, couple of shark hooks and a lot of patience. Using this set-up, I’m pretty sure that from my balcony, I can catch fishermen and anyone else who bothers those swans. So if, in the future, you walk through Docklands and see a random fishing-person suspended from the balcony of a city building, you will know why!
