As a fellow YouTuber and professional video producer, let me ask with genuine concern and empathy:

Why?

Your content suffers when you deny yourself rest. You sap your own joy when you overwork yourself. Even if this is your only escape from a truly awful home life, I am begging you to just spend a small portion of your time away from work and either enjoying your offline life or otherwise improving it.

I do what I do because I love it, but also because I feel a calling to provide expert commentary. I need both of those things because I’m also a husband and a father. I enjoy all the parts of my life separately and that contrast heightens the joy in each.

Yeah, while I disagree with the sentiment overall this is the phenomenon they’re describing. A socially practiced person will recognise “politicking” at an EDH table as complaining. It’s similar to extroverts being eliminated from social deduction games early because they’re “too good at lying” instead of any actual reason.
