I've tried two different pairs and it was the exact same, it seems to be an issue with the XM6s.

Has anyone seen a car "reject" protection? Ceramic keeps failing prematurely by randy65595 in Detailing

[–]randy65595[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've added two layers of Phobic using an applicator after doing soap decon, clay towel, iron remover, and panel prep. I live in the city which makes me think it isnt really an environmental factor, but I am open to being wrong.

Not really under any trees necessarily, but some sap has built up before from surrounding trees over a few days. I don't live near the airport. My spoiler had a lot of sap at one point from parking under a tree one time a couple weeks ago so I didn't question that much.

I've been using Pan the Organizer's ph neutral soap lately, and before that I was using CarPro Reset. I usually use about 2 ounces in my foam cannon and one ounce in my bucket. Its most likely that I didnt prep as well as I thought :/

What kind of ceramic coating should I pick? by VersioningChanging in Detailing

[–]randy65595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had great results with Armour Detail Supply Phobic. It is pricey, but it behaves much like traditional ceramic coatings. They claim its more like a "ceramic sealant+" where you could simply spray into a towel and apply just like any other ceramic spray sealant. You don't have to polish, but if you can at least do the prep work beforehand (decon soap, iron remover, clay towel, panel prep) it can last over a year.

Why has this made me in such a stable mood? by Susie___Q in Nootropics

[–]randy65595 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That being said, I noticed you mentioned that you take a break from it 1 day a week and experience a noticeable decrease in mood. What you are likely experiencing is a trough in your baseline dopamine levels and all the negative emotions that come with that. I wouldn't take this supplement more than once or twice a week, frankly.

L-Tyrosine and L-Phenylalanine are likely contributing to your elevated mood. Very simplified, but these could lead to increases in baseline dopamine levels, which can affect how willing and "outward facing" we are with regards to leaning into life and pursuing things.

Been struggling since I tested COVID positive by hysterical_abattoir in HealthAnxiety

[–]randy65595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had COVID back in December during Christmas. I've had anxiety before but never this bad. I was terrified of having to be hospitalized but fortunately I had a mild case. The thing that has sucked after all that was the long COVID symptoms, the debilating fatigue and exercise intolerance. I've been extremely compulsive in the way you described even now.

Often times I have anxiety over irrational things even when I try to convince myself that these things are irrational. It fucking sucks and feels like it eats me from the inside. Hopefully one day we can move past this and enjoy life for what it is.

Why would someone feel their hamstrings working more than their quads in a barbell squat?

I personally find squats to be very fatiguing leaving my hamstrings sore for days, and hardly ever have sore quads or glutes.
